Highlights
  • Le Grenier à Pain Caulaincourt - Begin your day in true Parisian fashion, grabbing a coffee and a croissant or pain au chocolat while they’re still warm. Knowing you’ll be hungry later, pick up a delicious traditional baguette (naturally, you choose the finest one available, as quality is paramount).
  • Fromagerie Chez Virginie Caulaincourt - Despite the morning rush and the potential for delays due to unexpected strikes or crowded subways, your mind is already on the day’s pleasures. No time for a sit-down lunch? Opt for a packed meal to enjoy between meetings. And since you’re also anticipating the after-work “apéro” with friends, you head to a family-run cheese shop where each perfectly aged cheese has been telling a story since 1946.
  • Charcuterie Arnaud Nicolas - Your “apéro” shopping isn’t complete yet: make a quick stop at a charcutier who holds the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Best Craftsman in France) to pick up some of the finest local charcuterie (cured meats). To complement this feast, you select a delicious wine that pairs perfectly with your cheese and charcuterie choices.
  • Biscuiterie de Montmartre - Lunch is over, the afternoon is winding down, and work is still demanding. What better way to reward a busy day than with a sweet treat? Whether it’s an authentic macaron or a Proustian madeleine, follow your cravings at this iconic local shop.
  • Square Suzanne Buisson - Yay! Work is done, and it’s time to unwind! Gather with friends for a well-deserved aperitif picnic in one of the city’s beautiful spots. What a joy it is to share the day’s complaints over a selection of cheeses, fine cured meats, a glass of wine, and good company.
  • À la Mère de Famille - As usual, the “apéro” has stretched on a bit too long, and now you’re hungry for dinner. You decide to head to a Tibetan restaurant with friends. But on the way, you pass by this magnificent chocolate shop dating back to 1761, and you can’t resist stopping to sample one of its chocolate specialties.
  • Aux Merveilleux de Fred - Ah, you’re almost at the Tibetan restaurant, but you can’t resist indulging in something wonderful. Parisian indulgence is just that: too much good food for a foodie like you!
  • Momola - Finally, you arrive at the restaurant. Let yourself be swept away by a cuisine that transports you, and already you’re dreaming of exploring other culinary horizons tomorrow: Mmmm, maybe you’ll crave Italian food, or Lebanese, or… Yes, Paris isn’t just France; it’s a world of flavors around every corner!

Foods of Paris - The food tour was such a fun experience. It ended up being just IIyas and I and it was fantastic. He is such a knowledgeable person and a foodie and knew all the great places to walk for not only food but sights. It's a great mix and even being in a part of Paris I had been before I saw some new sights. He also pointed me to other options for the rest of my stay which was great. I would highly recommend this tour, it was a fun experience.

A Perfect Blend of Flavor and Culture - This tour was everything we hoped for and more! The guide’s passion for Parisian food culture was contagious, and he introduced us to lesser-known spots that locals love. The balance between walking through charming streets and indulging in delicious food was just right. This tour is a fantastic way to experience the culinary delights of Paris while soaking in its rich cultural atmosphere!

A wonderful walking tour of Parisian cuisine. - A very memorable tour, where the host Ilyas invited me to try delightful Parisian dishes, whilst providing me with historical context of the foods origins. I especially enjoyed the buttery croissant from a well known bakery and the delicious Syrian dessert that I had during the walk. A truly enjoyable tour that I would highly recommend!

Fantastic Food Tour! - Ilyas was wondeful. He greeting us at the metro and took us on a fantastic, well planned, enchanting sojourn! He lead us to the top of Monmartre (stopping in a fresh fruit and vegatable shop for some fresh juice) where we enjoyed croissants, pan chocolat and french coffee. Following this we made our way through the streets of Monmartre a quaint park behind Sacré-Couer, which gave us a beautiful, unobstructed view of the church. There he served us croque monsier and pear/apple juice! From there we spent some time in the front of the church to appreciate the amazing view of all of Paris. On the way back down from Montmartre we stopped in a patisserie for macarons and madelienes, and a chocolate shop for a piece of chocolateAfter that he took us to a bistro for a plate of meats and cheeses with a perfectly paired glass of wine. The evening ended with a french/syrian pastry - which was divine! Lastly, he took us to a lovely little, out of the way park which had a beautiful blue tiled mural and the words “I Love You” in over 200 languages. This is a food tour you should not miss!

Magnificent! - Ilyas was a wonderful, thoughful guide! His food choices were superb. And his stops along the way were excellent. We thoroghly enjoyed the petite park behind the Sacre-Coeur with the delicious croque monsieur sandwiches as well as all the special touches he added to the tour. The tour ended in a small park in Abbesses to view a tile wall with “I love you” written in over 200 languages! What a sight that was!!! We highly recommend taking the Bohemian Rhapsody Food Tour!
