Engulfed in a Second Empire setting, guests journey through three millennia of history: Get acquainted with the Grasse expertise, extinct raw materials, and age-old aromatic items. The museum functions as a perfume-maker’s lab, featuring scarce and valuable bottles from the time of the Pharaohs to Fabergé, reflective of societal and cultural practices.

Following your 20-minute tour, we invite you to engage in a session of sensory and olfactory recall enhancement via the explanation of the smell pyramid and the identification of 3 combined mixtures that compose the Flower of the Year eau de toilette. Great fun - Visited with my two daughters and my 10 year old granddaughter and we had a great time. The make your own perfume workshop is pretty basic but we had a lot of fun mixing the different notes and comparing our resulting fragrances with each other. The workshop was followed by a very interesting tour of the museum and history of perfume and then we were in the shop where we got to smell a bunch of Fragonard fragrances and purchase some if we desired. Of course we desired! The fragrance I chose to purchase smells so good and honestly lasts way longer than perfumes usually do on me! This was one of my granddaughter's favorite activities in Paris. Well worth the time and price!

Great family experience - This was a great experience with older kids and a larger group. The guide spoke amazing English and was kind and helpful. We got to take home a small container of our perfume and had an option to get more in the gift shop.

Fun making own perfume - Learned about perfume making and definition of perfume. Then made our own perfume…making our own decisions on what scent we preferred. Just right amount of time to learn and create. So much fun!

Great little experience - We had a great time, the Guide was very informative. Beautiful location and it was a fun activity to created a mini perfume. For the price we’ll work it! The only issue we had was we had our luggage on us and I had tried to find the information on here if we was able to leave it with them but there was no information. My sister is pregnant and they wouldn’t let us leave them downstairs! So we had to lug our cases up and down.

Quick tour, unique experience! - Factory was easy to find and close to public transit, I recommend doing this and then going to visit the opera house as they are across the street. We arrived then were brought upstairs to make the perfume, then given a short tour on the history of perfume, then let out in the store. Entire experience took 45 minutes and it was very unique to Paris.

Great fun thing to do in the country of parfums! - We liked the experience and learned about parfum. I would just say that the making of the parfum itself was a bit rushed. We only had a few minutes to actually make it and only had a couple of options to mix. I would prefer to have a bit more time and more options to mix. You have a chance to buy their perfumes at the end of the tour at a discount if you buy a few.

Misleading - This is Not a perfume making class. We did Not make perfume. The title is misleading. The guided tour is by scanning a QR code and listening on your own phone. After the tour there was a smelling session of the most populair perfumes of the house (the clerck that helped is was amazing). The goal was to sell perfumes to the costumers. Later we found out that the QR coded tour was for free as well as the smelling session. So actually we paid for nothing.

It’s ok. Maybe just do the museum and shop/ - The guide was nice. Was hoping for more of the perfume mixing experience but it was fine. Salespeople in store were overly aggressive and annoying.
