Great tour, great guide! - Directions on how to find our tour guide were incorrect. If standing at the Arc Carousel with the Pyramid behind you, the tour group is on the right side with a small red flag with the name of the company on it. It took about 20 minutes for us to figure this out, so I hope this tip helps the next person. Now, on to my review of the tour itself. Yes..... you can tour the Louvre on your own, but having a guide is so much better. You could spend days at the museum trying to see every single painting, sculpture, and exhibit. But we did not have days.... only 4 hours. Our guide was Monica, and she was great! She conducted our tour in English, but she is fluent in French and Chinese! Our tour lasted about 2.5 hours. She made sure to show us a significant amount of the museum and all major highlights in that 2.5 time frame. Honestly, I was so tired from walking all day in Paris. So I could appreciate someone being able to show me the condensed version. Monica has been doing tours at the Louvre for 6 years and she knows her history! Her passion for art, culture, and history comes is very apparent because she is enthusiastic and just lights up when she talks about the exhibits. Monica took the time to go over the map and planned route that we would take before the tour started. Overall, great narrator. Thank you for a wonderful time Monica! Air conditioning at the Louvre seems to not exists so you may want to bring a battery powered fan or something to fan yourself with during warm months.

Great experience with the tour company - Everything worked out flawlessly. The tour guide was great. The only drawback was the crowds and disorganization of the museum staff regarding the Mona Lisa but that’s not the tours fault. Highly recommend.

You go see the Mona Lisa for the picture on the other side of the room - Really good tour guy. There is so much to do there it was nice having a tour guide for the first few areas

Amazing - The magnificent of the palace ! Can’t believe how opulent and beautiful, it was , We viewed the gardens by renting a golf cart, best decision I made !

Lovely tour - Easy access and nice to have direction of where to go in the museum. We were able to access our tour an hour earlier, which was very convenient

Knowledgable but a rushed tour! - Struggled to find tour guide, once we did although very knowledgable the tour was extremely rushed. Kept mentioning we could leave early, and hurried through all rooms.

It was NUTS (but needed). - My tour guide was engaged, informed, and personable; I believe his name was Stephan. Things not under his control -- the madhouse/excessive crowds & the completely awful and terribly inept/confusing Viator "check-in" process (of MANY tours for the exact same time) made me provide this "POOR" grade/assessment. That said, I will gladly acknowledge that WITHOUT this guided tour, I most likely would have NEVER been able to see/experience the major masterpieces of The Louvre. For that, and Stephane's dedication, I am most grateful.

Terrible - The audio gadgets were not working and the guide was very difficult to understand and the content was not relevant . Total waste of time .

SCAM!!! - This is a scam. The tour guide was not at the meeting place at the designated time to meet. Also, the Louvre closed at 1800 and our tickets for our guide was at 1930. I am waiting for my refund now. Hopefully I get my money back.
