Nice, low key macaron making class - Nice, low key macaron making class. First, we watched as guide made the shells and explained the ingredients and process. We all got turns piping out some shells. She explained how they have to be dried for several hours and then baked. Then we sat and made both chocolate ganache and pistachio fillings and filled our own macarons - 2 of each type - 4 total per person. We ate some there and brought rest back to our hotel in a pretty box. Got recipe card for each type. It was a very relaxing class, especially after so much walking that day around Paris. I would recommend this class both for adults and kids.

Macaron making at Galleries Lafayette - Went with my family of four, myself, husband, and two teen boys. We spent the afternoon browsing the mall, going on the glasswalk and to the rooftop for the view. We had lunch at an adorable cafe and then headed to our macaron class. Our teacher was very knowledgeable, and she showed us how to make the shells. We did not make our own shells, but each person got a turn to pipe a few out on the baking sheet. After that, we made the filling --- one pistachio and one chocolate and she gave us the shells to use to make 2 of each flavor. We could take them home or eat on the spot. The class was fun & informative and we left with the confidence and recipes to try to make our own macarons at home.

Good - It was fund experience for me and my husband to learn to make macroon I think if u have extra time and money you should definitely do it

Macaron Cooking Class at Galeries Lafayette was a highlight of my trip - The most memorable part of this experience was eating the macarons we made. Marie was a great teacher and I loved all the hands on work we did.

Would recommend this class. - Sharing tips to making the macaroons turn out perfect. The classes were small and in English. Plus the instruction s and tripe sheets were comprehensive.

Very fun activity - Marie was a lovely teacher, very kind and explained the process of making the macaron shells and ganache in an easy and accessible manner. Equipment and recipes was all provided, a very fun activity indeed.

No bakery - It is not a macaron bakery, it is only about the filling. Nice experience but too expensive for what it entails. Macarons are already ready.
