Excellent Tour and A Great Value. - I couldn't have been happier with this tour. Our guide, Sam, was fantastic, sharing detailed knowledge of D-Day events as well as his opinion of historical accuracy of movies (i.e. Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers etc). I fact checked a few things he said (e.g. D-Day landing in SPR was actually filmed in Ireland) and he was correct on everything. Very nice guy and you'll be lucky if you get him. The bus rides are long, 3.5-ish hours each way, but stops are made where a wide variety of drinks and snacks are available. Pro Tip: Grab the back row of the bus, which is five seats across. If the bus isn't crowded, you can lie down and sleep. No rest room on the bus which didn't seem to be an issue for anyone but plan accordingly. The cider tasting stop was interesting and worth the stop. I'd have purchased a few bottles but didn't want to have to schlep it back across an ocean. The lunch stop was nice and I was very happy with my selection (fish). The folks who selected ham or pizza, the other two choices, seemed less happy. The cemetery is impressive of course and don't miss the associated museum. Skip the movie they show as it's something you've probably seen before.

Normandy Day Trip - The tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor making it an enjoyable experience! In my opinion, the amount of time allocated for the museum was insufficient for anything other than taking photos in a fast sweep. This could be remedied by eliminating the cider tasting from the itinerary. Lunch was delicious! Overall, I would recommend this trip and John as the guide! We have taken many day trip tours and John was the best guide.

A great choice - John was our tour guide and he did a great job, he was clearly well suited and prepared for the task. I liked how the cider tasting part of the trip included Apple juice for those Who couldn't drink alcohol. The stories he told where amusing and really captivating, as well as the scenerie. It is without a doubt a great trip.

Normandy—A must do in Paris! - We thoroughly enjoyed our time with John on this tour. As history lovers, Normandy has been on our bucket list for years and his additional knowledge and insight greatly added to our experience. The Utah Beach and the cemetery were our highlights. We don’t drink, but enjoyed the apple cider at the wine tasting instead. The bus was comfortable. Having wall charging ports was a big bonus for the battery life from all of the pictures we took. Book this tour, it’s definitely a day well spent!

Normandy and Cider Tasting Tour - My tour was the Normandy Beach Tour with John and we had a great time. We have visited 3 countries before this on the same trip and went on many guided tours. This was by far the funnest one and well put together. Lunch was preplanned for us so we didn’t have to rush like every guided tour before this and there was a healthy amount of joking in between the information regarding Normandy. Thanks for the tour John, hopefully we run into you in the future for another tour!

Epic tales for a Historical Journey - John was a great guide and his historical insights and storytelling were second to none. His succinct and concise tale of the events leading up to the settings we were about to see were well told and highly relevant, making the overall experience a watershed moment in our visit to Paris/France

The BEST tour ever - The guide (John) was very kind and his explanations were even better than the food we had. When deciding what to eat, I recommend the fish.

A whirlwind day in the D-Day Region - My reason for going with the cider-tasting tour was that it was markedly-cheaper but still hit many of the same notes as other tours. There isn't any way I have thought of to make it markedly better without it reaching the prices of the other tours but if lunch was made BYO/figure-it-out-yourself $10 could be knocked-off and the hour or so could be applied to the three historical spots to make it that much better. I would have had no issue eating on the bus during one of the intermittent drives. Obviously that would lead to some more messes and inconsiderate people's trash but that would have made it at least a four star experience, if not 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

Left without us! - So upset with this tour operator. I reached out earlier that morning to say we were taking the metro but realized we would be late (no more than a few minutes). I have booked hundreds of tours and understand what happens when one person is late and I am always respectful of time but there are moments out of your control. I had no way to contact the guide directly (first problem) and had to wait for the company to respond and tell me the guide would only wait until 7:05. As soon as we got out of the station near the meet up point my kids and I ran to meet the guide as the designated spot. We arrived at 7:05 and no guide, no group and no one to meet us. They already left. I contacted the company again and asked if there was any place I could meet up with them. Nope, and was told they left. I asked for a refund and was told they could only rebook me on a different day. We had no other day when we could go so I am out $700. I do not recommend booking with this company unless you know for certain life won’t throw you a curve ball once in a while. You need to be able to reach your guide directly.
