Fabulous! We would go on another Rick Steves tour in a heartbeat. Rolinka was amazing guide. Highly rec. Hotel de Londre - RICK STEVES Best of Paris 7-day TOUR. 100%! Stayed at the Hotel de Londres-Eiffel. Staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Breakfast was divine! Rooms were cozy, comfortable, renovated. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed (multiple times). Rolinka was our tour guide. AMAZING! Very well organized, great instruction. We went definitely go on another Rick Steves tour. 5 stars all around.

Eiffel Tour and Lovre - Pedro, Joslin and Carlos were great guides. This is a skip the line tour, which is valuable but not a guided tour. The cruise on the Seine is self guided, can be used at any time. Not a bad thing as seeing the Eiffel Tour and Lovre in the same day makes it a tiring day.

Sub Par Figure it out yourself ticket purchase tour. Dissapointing - This was the least favorite tour of my trip. It was truly a disappointment as far as “guided” tour. We met early and then walked together a few blocks to Eiffel Tower and waited in line a long time for entry. There certainly seemed to be notning special about going up with the guide. Little info was given at the top about what we were looking at around the city. We then were asked if we wanted to be accompanied tot he Louvre or go on our own. We said we did want to be taken there. I was confused why I would be given an option when I booked a tour. We were walked to the entry and took tour on our own with no map to the Louvre or recommendation on what we would do when inside. Huge disappointment. Then were told we could go on River tour anytime and just go back at our convenience. Just a really odd experience. I don’t think that was “BEST of Paris”. Not. Good.

Not guided - This is not really a guided tour. You are guided to your destinations, told a little of the history of those destinations and then you’re on your own. We were looking forward to the guided museum tour and were disappointed it was self guided. The guides that took us to each place were great (punctual, friendly).

Average experience - The guide just gave the tickets. We had to stand in the line for everything. There was no real explanation of the places we visited. I could have bought the tickets on my own and could have at least saved sometime waiting for everyone in the group.

Changed the tour without previous notice - The guides were very kind and polite but the tour operator decided to change the order of the tour. Instead of doing Eiffel Tower, Seine Cruise and Louvre, they changed it to Eiffel Tower, Louvre and cruise without previous notice which was terrible because we had plans near the Louvre and our cruise was ruined because it was raining all afternoon.

Worst day in Paris - Guide was nice and courteous but spoke very little and was not informative about the day’s events or any history about what we were actually seeing. We got there early but some people had to catch up bc the guide left early and didn’t wait until the scheduled time. In addition to that the tour was badly organized and more like a “drop off with tickets” - advertised to be a day in Paris but was actually a “get in long line at Eiffel Tower” then take metro trains (no bus) to louvre and wait an hour there before being told to go look at whatever we wanted without going back to Eiffel Tower. Guide then just disappeared after giving us tickets to boat ride to do on own which was across the city back at starting point of the day. Kind of felt like a waste of a day and should be better advertised.

Don’t do it! - They do not tell you they will have you standing and waiting very long periods of time at the Eiffel tower entrance. Then afterwards you wait for a very long time. Then they walk you to the train station and ride with you to the Louvre. Once you get into the extremely busy Louvre, they leave you and just give you the tickets for the boat. The boat was so overcrowded we couldn’t even get on. A enormous waste of money. Please do not waste your time. The guides were amazing though.
