- In our semi-private tours, the total number of people in each group is limited to 6. If the group is larger, it may be split into different groups on the day of the tour at the meeting point so each guide gets 6 people each.
- Museum tickets are timed and non-refundable.
- All customers will have to go through security to enter the Louvre. This line may be long in high season.
- Consider traffic in Paris and please leave early to make it on time for your tour. It is not possible to join the tour after it has started
- No backpacks, umbrellas or big bags are allowed in to the museum.
- Strikes at the Louvre may happen and the Museum may decide to close with no prior notice. If this happens, we will offer a guided walking tour of Paris for 2 hours instead.
- Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
- Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes.
- Tickets can only be used once. You will not be able to get back in if you leave one of the museum wings.
- Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has started.
- Please remember to bring valid identification documents with you, considering monument entrances and security checks within the city.

We meet in front of “Cafe le Nemours” on Place Colette. The nearest metro station is Palais Royal, be sure to take exit 5 “Place Colette“.
As you come out of the metro exit, turn around and you will see Cafe le Nemours. Our guide will be there holding a “Walks in Europe” sign.

Exceptional Tour & Guide - Mateo was our guide and he was absolute perfection!! My 88 yr young mother, who is only 4'7" walks a little slower most and Mateo made sure she was always included in every part. He even got her special access to walk in front of the Mona Lisa to view it, instead of from behind the rope with the crush of other people. He is very personable, adding a lot of his own humor & wit to the tour and very knowledgeable about all things in & around the Louvre. We highly recommend this tour, the small size is ideal and makes it possible to have great conversations with the Guide. If you can, request Mateo, you will not be disappointed!! He even gave us restaurant recommendations at our next sightseeing stop and it was delicious!! Exceptional service from start to finish.

Great way to get just a taste of the Louvre - Valerie was our guide. She was so energetic and excited about showing us the little bit of the Louvre that she could. She explained things so clearly I learned so much in just a short time. She also had a great sense of humor!

Best tour sm group - It was the best tour small group of 6 our guide was the best we didn’t wait in line used back door entrance she was soo informative we saw all the important things couldn’t imagine seeing the Louie without a tour guide ! I forgot my guides name she was the best !

The Only way to see the Louvre! - This was the only way to go! Our guide Ceceil was amazing and got us right thru the crowds with ease, hit all the highlights, and gave us very insightful and informative information about the Louvres history and collections. She even pointed us in the direction for other interests after the tour. Book this tour...You'll be so glad you did!

Louvre Tour excellent! - Guide was very knowledgeable with great communication. It was a quick tour. If you want to enjoy more time after the tour I suggest an early time as it takes a bit to get inside and fight the crowds.

Good but boring. - More enthusiasm and making it relevent for all ages instead of a history lesson. Monotone is difficult for young adults to listen to. At one point I asked the leader a question as to why the fingers of many paintings and statues had them in esoteric placment. She said Im not going to answer that. Did I offend her? So strange.

An unforgettable experience - It was very good expirience. I was with my sister and we had a problem with metro transport and were late for the tour scheduled at 3:00 pm! We arrived 15 minutes later but the guide received us with understanding and for that we are quite grateful! Everything was very good except that there were a lot of people in our group and it was written that it was for 6 people. But it didn't spoil our impression ...
