Everything begins with a comforting mug of tea or coffee while you prepare to delve into making your very own Buttery Croissant, Pain au Chocolat (or chocolate croissant), and Pain au Raisin! The small group size of 8 ensures personalized guidance from the chef as you acquire new culinary skills.\n\nInitially, you’ll acquaint yourself with the utensils, ingredients, and the theoretical underpinnings of croissant preparation. The entire process will be hands-on, with high-quality materials sourced from our local suppliers.\n\nThe journey starts with the kneading of the predough. Your indispensable final ingredient is the rolling pin, used to flatten the matured dough and mold your unique pastries! The pastries will then be given time to rise and cook.\n\nThe experience culminates with a sampling of your freshly baked pastries accompanied by an enlightening conversation about your Parisian adventures. We, the chefs, are always eager to share culinary tips, recommendations, and hear your viewpoints, as well as learn from your experiences. Don’t forget to pack up any leftovers!

Great experience for mother/son! - lovely class! I did this with my 12 year old son and it was the perfect amount of time. We had Sarah as our chef instructor and she was so engaged and kind and patient. I loved the small group format, it felt like baking together at home! We made croissants and pain au chocolat from dough and then learned how to make new dough with butter layered in. I received the recipe by email almost immediately after the class. We each went home with 4 pastries!

Best pastries I ate during my month in France! - During a month long visit to France, these were the best pastries of my entire trip! The class was fun and informative and I liked that there wasn’t a ton of down time because it meant we were getting a full experience instead of just Sitting around. Also, I loved that they gave us a recommendation of places to shop and eat while in Paris!

Chocolate croissant baking - This was really a fun day to make chocolate croissants especially when it was a little sprinkling out side. Like they say it's a good day to bake when it's a little rainy day!

Wonderful, hands-on experience - Our family of 3 (2 adults + 1 teen) truly enjoyed this baking instruction experience. Our instructor, Alissa, was very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. All steps of the croissant-making process were fully explained and demonstrated before we completed them. She answered questions and offered helpful tips throughout - even offering insight for places to visit during our stay in Paris. The fresh, hot croissants at the end did not disappoint!🥐👩‍🍳👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

Could have been better - Learning to make croissants was fun, at times. Two things that brought this down to a 3 star. First was the teacher/chef. I don’t remember her name only that she was a beautiful black woman. She was constantly annoyed with all of us. Whatever we did, she needed to come in after us and do it for us. And second was the recipe they sent us afterwards was NOT the same as what we did in the class. This had the potential to be a fun hands on experience. Instead we spent the time making faces at each other due to her nonfriendly teaching style
