Highlights
  • Place de la Republique - Explore the trendy Le Marais area on the banks of the Seine, and nearby Place de la République, where three neighborhoods converge.

IMPORTANT: As this is a private and personalized experience, the places you visit may differ from those listed and these will be chosen by your host based on your interests and preferences

  • Le Marais - Paris’s oldest market, luxurious mansions and sipping vin rouge at a pavement bistro. See the playground for Paris’s most trendy – the crooked, cobbled, historical lanes that are alive with bars, restaurants, vintage shops, and jewelry boutiques. But there’s more to Le Marais than gorgeous “I-woke-up-like-this” locals queuing for pita at L’As du Fallafel. With your host to lead the way, you’ll explore its thriving art scene at upmarket galleries, amble through Musée Picasso, and visit iconic sites like Rue de Montmorency, where Nicolas Flamel’s house – the oldest in Paris – stands. Stumble across the district’s hidden secrets, like the utterly picturesque Passage de l’Ancre, where a quaint boutique sells umbrellas and walking sticks, and relax with a coffee or a glass of wine at a classic bistro. Très chic.

  • Montmartre - Discover Montmartre, perhaps the city’s most quintessentially Parisian district. As the city’s artistic neighborhood for centuries, perhaps you’ll discover the square where Picasso once painted, or visit Espace Dali, an eclectic collection of the artist’s quirky sculptures. Your host wouldn’t let you miss visiting the Sacré-Coeur, the stunning basilica which watches over the neighborhood, but they’ll also take you further north into Clignancourt, an overlooked area that’s home to delicious street eats and the Marché aux puces where you could while away hours browsing antique treasures. Take in the sweeping views of the whole city or sink into a chair in a classic Parisian cafe and indulge in the art of the flâneur - people watching.

Additional Information

You are indeed fortunate to get the chance to venture around Paris! We don’t have to highlight its enchantment; however, we’re certain that one of our guides can help you explore the genuine Paris based on your convenience and wishlist. Undoubtedly, iconic attractions like the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame Cathedral are must-visits, but straying off the beaten track to lesser-known locales loved by locals is also a delightful idea.

Within a day of your booking, you’ll receive a brief questionnaire about your personality and preferences. Depending on your replies, we’ll match you with a host who shares your interests. Your host will then contact you with a proposed itinerary to expose you to the city’s uniqueness. You’ll also coordinate on a meeting time and location. Your itinerary is not fixed and can be altered as per your wishes during your exploration.

  • We’ll be in touch within 24 hours after booking to find out more about your personality and interests so we can assign a like-minded local who can create a bespoke experience for you.
  • Your Local Host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary and agree a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
  • Your Local Host may also suggest adjustments or new routes if they feel that there is something just around the corner that you may enjoy, or perhaps if the weather affects your itinerary.
  • Although you will see the main attractions in the area, your Local Host will also help you to discover the places, things and stories that you won’t find in a guidebook and that make the city unique.

Private tour of the Latin Quarters - We wanted to see the Latin Quarter on this trip to Paris and Clementine was the perfect tour guide. She is a Sorbonne University graduate and very knowledgeable about the area. As a bonus, she is a baker and know all the good patisserie spots. On our next visit, we plan to hire her to take us to the best spots in the City (not just Latin Quarters) and take her Macaron making class. Highly recommended!

Have a fun walking tour... - Have a fun walking tour with Del! She showed us how to buy tickets and use the train. She took us off the beaten path and showed us popular sites and areas that we would’ve missed on other tours. She also showed us where locals dine and shop. I would highly recommend you take a tour with Del!

Pascal's Private Personal Paris Promanade - Prior to our Paris Private Custom Tour, we completed a questionnaire listing our interests in "off the beaten path" neighborhoods, historical architectural features, and other interests rather than the usual tourist attractions. Pascal met us on time and with a combination of walking, Metro, and Taxi, we had a marvelous scenic and educational tour of various parts of Paris. Pascal was more knowledgeable about architecture than I was and pointed out things I would have missed. He suggested a charming café for lunch, and our meals and conversation were outstanding. My wife was recovering from knee surgery and whenever possible, Pascal was very attentive in beginning each adventure from a downhill perspective. We couldn't have asked for a better personal tour of Paris.

Walking tour - The walking tour was the perfect first thing to do in Paris and Beatriz was an excellent guide! She gave her knowledge freely and was very in tune with what we needed. She went above and beyond and even guided us to a great spot for drinks after our tour had ended

Great overview of Paris - Ewan was a great guide, we clicked pretty well. our itinerary was open and wanted to see the main sites however my father is elderly and my sister is disable so we moved relatively slow until they had had enough. He's an interesting and personable guy and I'd highly recommend

Amazing guide, great tour. - Our guide from city unscripted was amazing. She even brought us a picnic snack and took us to the most medical park, very quiet, to enjoy it away from the crowds. Her knowledge of all things Paris was so wonderful. Ed would ask a question, and she knew the fact. Would rebook her again when we return.

Our walking tour with Jill was fantastic! - We loved over tour with Jill! She reached out a few days before our trip. We told her the kinds of things we liked (history, culture, boho fashion, hidden gems), and she curated the perfect 4 hour walking tour. We started in Le Marais, walked to Bastille, the 11th, the Latin Quarter and ended back at our hotel on Ile St. Louis. Jill is passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed spending time with her, learning from her and feel like we made a new friend here in Paris!

Private tour of Le Marais - In this walk for several hours walking through the center and old part of the city one discovers very interesting new areas for a tourist who has come to Paris several times but who does not know the hiding places and interesting stories that Pascal, my guide, provided me with. Thanks to the team, especially PASCAL for being a wonderful and attentive being...

Great way to see sites with limited time - Del met us at our hotel and it was obvious she had read our requests for sites to see and tried to work as many of them in as possible. One request we had was to learn the Metro system, and she patiently got us all set up with that. She took her time to let us browse in Montmartre, our primary destination, and buy a few souvenirs. Her command of English was wonderful, and made it easier on us. Despite the rain, we had a great visit. I will recommend your tour company (and Del). If I'd known what I know now I would probably schedule two separate 4 hour "tours" a couple of days apart so we could explore on our own inbetween and then fill in the gaps. Glad we found you!
