Excellent tour - Aaron was our tour guide and because we were the only couple that day, we had more attention and just a bit extra I'm sure, than if there were a big group. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable, having been in the military forces himself. He had a passion for knowing masses of past war history details and his accuracy was evident. We are from Victoria Aust, so visiting Villers-Bretonneux was a special treat because of the gratitude, the little town still has, even now, for our soldiers in saving their town. We went on the WWI tour but he also does WWII as well. We highly recommend this tour especially if you have Aaron as your guide.

Excellent tour - First rate tour. Very flexible program tailored to the group. We diverted to a small overlooked cemetery to visit the grave of a tour guest’s grandfather. A gratifying yet sad experience. So glad to see her take comfort from her visit. A vivid reminder of the costs of war to this day.

A long day but worth every minute. - We wanted to visit the Somme as my husband’s grandfather fought there. Oliver was an excellent guide, great sense of humour and in depth knowledge. Unusually there were no Australians on this trip and Oliver was able to make sure we made special stops for other nationalities. It is a long day 7am to 7pm, but worth it. We came prepared with brollies and waterproof trousers and thank goodness we did as it was pouring with rain. Would recommend walking shoes and waterproofs as a precaution.

Captivating, informative and respectful - An absolute must-do tour for Aussies coming to Paris. The Somme Battlefields tour has been the highlight of our trip without question. If you're lucky you'll get Aaron who was an absolute legend of a guide. His knowledge and his ability to communicate that knowledge really made the day that much more meaningful.

Great experience..every Australian must do this tour - I cannot commend enough this Blue Fox Tour as it was simply incredible and should be on all Australians lists of places to visit when in France. Jonathan was my guide and he was excellent and knowledgeable in any questions I asked. It is an incredibly moving and emotional experience particularly at Villers Breteneux and the Sir John Monash Memorial site is so well done.
