WINE TASTING IN PARIS has been voted the best Tour in Europe for 2024 in the category of Culinary Tours and Experiences. The owner and guide, Thierry, is a certified French sommelier and an official wine instructor for Burgundy wines, fluent in English.

Over the course of more than 2 hours, explore the most renowned wine regions of France and sample 6 exceptional French wines: 1 Champagne, 1 white wine from the Loire Valley, 1 white wine from Burgundy, 1 red wine from Burgundy, 1 red wine from Bordeaux, and 1 red wine from the Rhone Valley or Languedoc (the wine selection may vary). You will also learn how to taste wine like a true connoisseur.

This wine tasting is conducted in small groups of up to 12 people in a charming venue located in the heart of the Latin Quarter.

If you wish to purchase a small cheese platter to pair with your wines, it is advisable to request it by email in advance to ensure availability (payment upon arrival).

The Wine tasting session takes place in the wine shop called WINE TASTING IN PARIS, black door, ground floor, in the cobblestone street called "Rue des Boulangers" number 14. You have 2 metro stations at each part of the street; Jussieu or Cardinal-Lemoine.

Fun and informative wine tasting - We had an excellent experience at this wine tour. Our guide asked us about our understanding of French wines and adjusted the shared information accordingly. The wines we tasted were excellent, and we learned so much about all the French wine regions. I would definitely recommend.

A Wonderful Wine Tasting Experience - An absolutely outstanding experience. Thierry did a great job in detailing the various wine regions and fundamentals of wine tasting. What made this different was that it was very well structured with PowerPoint slides for those wishing to take notes or photos. He also provided brochures and a page listing all the wines. The six wines we tasted were great. Highly recommended.

Excellent wine tasting experience - It was great experience. We were in a small group of 7 people, some people had some wine knowledge some complete novice in the wine world but he made it interesting for everyone. Therry is a very knowledgeable wine expert and has a great visual material to go along the wine tasting. He is also attentive to his guests. Good wines, very professional service and warm atmosphere. Definitely worth doing it.

Look no further - a wonderful and fun introduction to French wine!! - Whether you are a wine lover, visiting France for the first time or want to learn more about French wines and their regions, or looking for an immersive wine experience, this is the BEST!! Thierry is very personable and knowledgeable sommelier loves to share his love of French wines and their history. Such a fun and educational experience for my husband and I.

We had a very interesting... - We had a very interesting class on french wines, from all over France. Thierry is a true expert, not only in french wines, but is also knowledgeable on wines from all over the world. I suggest tourist to get the wine&chenese combo for a better experience. The wine selection chose for this event was excellent: champagne, white wines and reds.

Great Way to Begin your trip to France - Obtained an excellent understanding of French wines and the different regions from which they come. Very thorough discussion of production techniques and of course the best part was tasting 6 wines from the different regions. Perfect way to begin our trip in Paris.
