Highlights
  • Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - The Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak is one of the most attractive floating markets in Thailand. Worldwide tourists come here to experience this 38 kilometers, man-made canal initiated by the visionary King Rama IV 150 years ago. This canal was used as “road” when there was no road in Thailand. This floating market is currently the center of fruits and vegetable trading. At this floating market, you can try a number of delicious Thai fruits and foods such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut icecream, and Thai-style boat noodle. A motor boat ride is already included in your tour.
  • Coconut Sugar Farm - You will observe how Thai farmers produce coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. You will see a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring the nectar into a bamboo container, putting preservation woods in the container, boiling up and pasteurizing the coconut nectar into the drinkable one. You will try squeezing coconut milk from coconut shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine.
  • Samut Sakhon - The whitish salt field, not a rice field, of course. A special bonus tour for our guests who join our floating and railway market tour in 2020. This sea salt is produced by Thai local wisdom. The salt farmer will rotate the sea water in different levels matching the strength of wind and sunlight. The rotation will continue until the salt becomes a “salt mountain” which are ready for cooking, skincare, and agriculture. On the Highway 35 in Samut Sakhorn province, our guide will lead you to rub the salt to your hand and take amazing photos!
  • Maeklong Railway Market (Talad Rom Hub) - The railway market in Mae Klong District is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! It is well known as one of the “Amazing-Thailand” for its chaotic moments. In normal time, seller stalls are typically attached to the railways. However, when the bell of the arriving train rings, the big turmoil will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stalls and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all vendors will expand their stalls and resume selling again.

Private Tour Only: You will ride a local train toward the Mae Klong station for about 30 minutes. Instead of standing on the sides of railway, you will be on the train seeing people doing selfies and recording videos. You will be waving your hands to worldwide tourists! The train ride is included for our private tour customers only (optional purchase for join tour customers).

  • MBK Center (Ma Boon Khrong Center) - MBK center is a must-visit shopping mall for foreign tourist. You could purchase many popular Thailand items in this huge shopping mall. If you are our join tour guests, we will drop you here after the tour. MBK center is connected to BTS National Stadium. You can ride BTS skytrain to return to your hotel conveniently.

On the other hand, if you are our private tour guests, we will drop you at your hotel. Or you may request us to drop you at MBK center if you wish.

Great way to enjoy the sights - The Tour was an amazing adventure. The Guide, named MK was friendly and amazingly helpful. The hotel pickup was punctual. We had a great time #on the train adventure~ took a short memorable train ride to Maeklong Station. Then the tour did a coconut farm adventure ~ the process of coconut sugar. Lastly the Damnoen Saduak floating market ~ enjoyable boat ride down the 'river'. Finally, everyone got off at MBK Centre.

Such value great time! - The value for this experience was out of this world for what you get... Lin, our guide was so friendly, exhuberant, and tried so hard to make us happy and get all the pictures and experiences no one else did.. train ride pics, floating market, coconut farm, and finished with yummy lunch.. (you pay) the van was cool and comfortable and there was seperate driver so she can focus on guests. Shes been doing this 30 years..gives you all info she can while driving.. there was a lot of traffic, we ran late but made up for it.. 6 people on tour..and we all had a riot.. such fun group. I would use this company and Lin again in heartbeat. :)

Good tour that could be better - The tour itself was good. We enjoyed the three stops and visiting the two markets. Our guide had everything organized in a too tight manner, we didn’t have at any point not even 1 minute to explore any of the stops ourselves, making us feel rush all the time. In the floating market, we stayed 35 min (opposite to the 1h plus listed in the itinerary) and when we wanted to stop to buy mango sticky rice, we didn’t and told us later later but that never happened, On the way back, all the participants were dropped at a point far from the hotels where we were staying. Since we passed really close to our hotel with the van, we asked if we could be dropped off there but our request was once again ignored. In general the tour is ok, but there are many aspects to improve in terms of customer service

Total disappointment - Tourist trap, we didn't like it at all. 4000 bath for a “boat” tour and see the same markets as a classic night market or the city shops for 10x more expensive. Honestly, we are disappointed to have had to drive 3 hours round trip for this. Happy holidays to you ☺️
