  • Tropical Spice Garden - Asia’s Hidden Eden! Timeless and enchanting, Tropical Spice Garden is an eco-attraction tucked within a natural valley fronting the Straits of Malacca. The showcase garden houses over 500 species of herb, spice and tropical plants. Explore and discover the fabulous diversity of nature as you through trails and pathways that meander through undulating hills, jungles terraces and natural streams. Garden Audio Tours available in 7 Languages: English, Chinese, Malay, Arabic, Japanese, German & French. Alternatively, you may take the Live Guided Tour that starts at 9am, 11am, and 1.30pm. The trails are slightly inclined so do wear comfortable walking shoes - unfortunately wheelchairs & strollers are not recommended.
  • Reclining Buddha Wat Chaiyamangalaram - Our driver will be waiting for you at your hotel lobby and proceed with the tour. Wat Chayamangkalaram Temple is a Thai temple in Penang famous for its large gold-plated Reclining Buddha, which is at 33m, is one of the largest in the world.
  • Dharmikarama Burmese Temple - Dhammikarama Burmese Temple is a Burmese-style Buddhist temple, founded in 1803, with elaborate, colorful stupas and sculptures. At the main prayer hall, voices are reduced to whisper and the silence is broken only by occasional ringing of temple bells. The latest addition to the Dhammikarama Buddhist Temple is the Golden Pagoda Bell Tower.

  • Yap Kongsi Temple - Yap Temple which is the clan temple of the Lum Yeong Tong Yap Kongsi, located next to it. The clan temple is located at the corner of Armenian Street and Cannon Street, in the core zone of the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • St. George’s Anglican Church - The street begins from the St.George Church run by Anglicans were built by British East India Company in 1819 and it’s known to be the oldest building in Penang. Built with a Greek architecture, the interior consist of a cool pastel blue with marble floors and outside the main building on the church grounds is a memorial to Sir Francis Light in the form of a Greek temple.
  • Kapitan Keling Mosque - The Kapitan Keling Mosque is designed on a curious mix of styles, combining colonial architecture with traditional Moorish arches, and its interior features a fantastic crystal chandelier and calligraphy panels. Built by the Indian Muslims primarily the head of the Indian Muslim community, Kapten Caudeer names the mosque after himself and Keling which was the origin of his birthplace.
  • Khoo Kongsi - The Khoo Kongsi is a large Chinese clanhouse with elaborate and highly ornamented architecture, a mark of the dominant presence of the Chinese in Penang, Malaysia. The famous Khoo Kongsi is the grandest clan temple in the country. It is also one of the city’s major historic attractions.

Outstanding Penang tour - Our tour guide Ronnie was outstanding - lots of interesting local information, history and great recommendations for eating out in Georgetown. Real attention to detail and lots of top tips along the way. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and in particular our generous & helpful guide who made our short time in Penang very special.
