- Sacred Valley of the Incas - 6:45 am: Pickup from your hotel in Cusco and 1h ride to Chinchero

Chinchero - 8:00 am:
Meet Roxana who is part of the eldest family keeping the weaving traditions alive.
Her alpacas and guinea pigs will welcome you and you can feed them their breakfast. Further, learn about their fascinating weaving techniques using natural ingredients to create impressive textiles by hand. -
Moray - 9:30 am:
Imagine the impressive Inca terraces and the beautiful Andes in the background. This view is just stunning, the story behind even more.
Your guide will teach you about the Inca’s agricultural laboratory, and how they created different climatic zones in these terraces. We’ll enjoy this place for about 45min - 1h. -
Maras - 11 am:
Staying in front of thousands of salt ponds, still intact.
Here you have the chance to take one of the most famous pictures in the Sacred Valley. Our guide will be happy to capture this moment for you.
From here we continue our tour to have delicious lunch. -
Urubamba - 1 pm:
Enjoy an outstanding lunch buffet (vegetarian and vegan options available) in one of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley, the highly ranked Tunupa. -
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - 2:40 pm:
Our last discovery for that day: The terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo.
This place was highly protected as it was the entrance to the path to Machu Picchu.
Thus, much happened here during the Spanish invasion. -
Ollantaytambo - 3:50 pm:
You have the option to be dropped off at the train station in Ollantaytambo, or to return with us to Cusco. - Cusco - 5:35 pm: Arrival at your hotel in Cusco, filled with lots of magical moments.

Great one day experience - We had an excellent time with Maik! The tour was well paced and covered many of the sites we were looking to see. We really appreciate the wonderful tour!

Best way to see the Sacred Valley- ask for Maik! - We had an awesome day with Maik and our driver, Adolfo. Maik was clearly an expert and so passionate about the history and culture he shared with us at each of the stops. He was a great storyteller and brought everything to life for us with helpful illustrations. Maik was also thoughtful and compassionate, modifying as needed for all of the physical ability levels in our group so no one ever felt left out or as though they were dragging behind. It was a spectacular day and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Great experience - Our guide, Karina, was wonderful. She explained things clearly and ensured we got to sites at times when they wouldn't be too busy. She also provided useful advice about other things we could do while in Cusco. Overall, this was a great experience. I particularly liked seeing the salt mines. I would recommend this trip.

Epic Full Day Tour in Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Incas - We had such an epic day in the Sacred Valley thanks to Exploor! We were picked up promptly as scheduled before sunrise at our accommodation. Despite the early morning wake up call, our driver Walter and guide Junior greeted us with warm smiles as we were escorted into our transportation for the day—a super clean van with comfortable captain seats that reclined, equipped to allow us rest in between the many stops we had on the agenda for our full day of exploration! We visited Sara Textiles in Chinchero where we learned the entire process of washing, spinning, naturally dying and weaving alpaca wool! We then countinued the adventure to the stunning Maras Salt Mines, then to the unique and otherworldly agricultural terraces of Moray and lastly we hiked up to the top of the Ollantaytambo ruins! Junior was super knowledgeable and at the same time entertaining—keeping us fully engaged throughout the day! He knew all the great picture spots and was always super helpful with making sure to capture photos of my husband and I together! Junior always made sure to check in, encouraged us to take breaks and ensured we were okay with altitude acclimation. Lunch was included in the tour and we were treated to a lovely buffet at Tunupa—a colonial hacienda that served traditional Peruvian dishes with live music and amazing views of the Sacred Valley! Walter was so kind to drop us off to the next accommodation of our trip! Highly recommend Exploor! They take care of all the planning so all you have to do is enjoy your time in Peru!!

10 OUT 10 EXPERIENCE - What a wonderful day I had. Maik was beyond amazing. He is passionate about his culture and loves what he does. He is also a great photographer. He came to pick us up on time, we spent the day at the Maras, and then we went to a village to see how the natives of the Quecha taught us how they threaded. Afterward, Maik took us to lunch, and we played an extremely fun game where we had to toss some coins in the frog's mouth. We laughed all day, and looking at pictures, we can't help but smile. Thank you for a wonderful day, Maik. We learned a lot.

Great tour of the Sacred Valley - Maik led us around the Sacred Valley and answered all of our questions, teaching us new words in Spanish and Quechua. This was a great way for us to see some awesome historical sites in the Sacred Valley, thank you to Maik and the Exploor team for a terrific adventure!

Great day touring the Sacred Valley - A great day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas! Highly recommended the tour, each of the destinations has something extraordinary. Textiles in Chinchero, salt flats in Maras, agricultural laboratories of concentric circles of Moray and the population and archaeological area of Ollantaytambo amazing! Great service and attention from Joshua the Guide and excellent driving Ricardo made this experience an unforgettable memory!

Very Good with room to improve - The guide was very knowledgeable and the seat very comfortable. The only thing to improve is to set correct expectations for timelines as it finishes 2 HR early, the last historical site we didn't explore all and were rushed to lunch when nothing was scheduled for after lunch.
