Duoro Valley memory etched forever! - Andreia and her husband gave us a day that will forever be etched in our memory. They are excellent, informative and most of all passionate about their guest experiencing authentic Duoro wine culture. We engaged in two wine tasting tours on family run farms and got to understand true viniculture life deeper. This was followed by a traditional Portuguese lunch, a boat tour on the picturesque Duoro river and several stops along they way, such as the lock system at the dam, as a boat was crossing as we drove pass. The small group experience allowed us to ask and discuss widespread topics and by the end of the tour we felt as family. This reasonably priced tour ranks as the BEST I have experienced in all my years of travel.

Great tour of the Douro Valley - Weather was not good. But we were taken to three relatively small vineyards. The wine was varied and excellent. We also purchased some jam and olive oil. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, an excellent tour.

Choose this tour! - Andreia and Valdemar were the best tour guides and hosts throughout the Duoro Valley. We had an amazing time visiting different wineries, viewpoints, an authentic Portuguese lunch, and a unique boat ride in Pinhao. Andreia made sure to always ask if we were comfortable or needed anything throughout the day. Because they grew up here and know the area so well, they offered so much knowledge and perspective that you would not get on another tour.

Best tour ever - Andreia and Valdemar took my wife and I on an amazing private tour of the Duoro. They tailored it just for us, making it exactly what we wanted. They picked us up and dropped us off from the town where we were staying. When they saw that we would be wearing masks, they immediately wore them too - which we really appreciated. Andreia speaks English extremely well, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy our tour. As we travelled to 2 different wineries - 1 large and 1 small, she gave us lots of information along the way. Valdemar was a great driver, making us feel safe as he carefully drove the winding, narrow roads. He also contributed to giving us information. They are lovely people and we would recommend them to anyone who would like a unique experience. Their tour is not a duplicate of so many others that we saw….they really care about the area of the Duoro where they live and were born. It’s a day that we’ll remember….and thanks also to them for taking photographs for us along he way.

These folks deserve 10 gold stars instead of 5 - Andreia Douro tours tailored our tour to the preferences we described during our planning with them. We identified our desires to include culture, architecture in the Douro and tours of small family vineyards. All of this and much more was included in our tour and we were so pleased. They exceeded our expectations. Andreia is very knowledgeable and her relationships with the vineyards and others is a great help. We highly recommend these folks. They were so kind and want to do whatever makes the client have the best experience possible. We plan to return to the Douro region and will no doubt use them again!!!

Best tour you can get! - Andreia is the best guide you can get! She’ll contact you beforehand to ask in which mood you are and will arrange the whole tour on your wishes. She’ll pick you up and give you the best day you can wish for. Always keeping the balance between guiding you and giving you some space. We were a group of four girls and visited one very small vineyard and one bigger one that was a bit more commercialized. This was the perfect mix to enjoy and explore this beautiful landscape. She even booked a table in a restaurant for us and brought cold water. We can highly recommend going with her and supporting this small business! Thanks again Andreia.
