You will live a private adventure in Douro with a water walking and local lunch. It’s a great opportunity to explore Douro during summertime.
The day starts with a short walking in land to the river. It takes about 20 minutes of a wonderful landscape of vineyards. As we get the river we enjoy an iconic waterfall and we start the water walking.
The context is woods and forests. The sounds and smells are super, and fast you feel grateful for being there. It’s a kind of secret spot where everything is peace and quiet.
The walking length is about 6km, with about 4km in water and 2km in land, for almost 3h. Totals.
The water level in the river is low, most of the trail it’s below the knees.
Though, there are three moments it comes near the waist. So, we recommend you come already dressed by bath clothes and light shorts. To take advantage of all the experience It’s mandatory you bring comfortable shoes, like trail boots or trail sneakers.
