Explore the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) to gain insights into the tropical rainforest ecosystem. Stroll along shaded nature trails and explore arboretums, including the Dipte Rocarp, a living tree collection for botanical study, and the Bambusetum, showcasing around 30 species of native bamboo. This trail meanders through one of FRIM’s oldest plantations, featuring majestic commercial timber trees. Logging is currently banned in all rainforest reserves in Malaysia.
