Well worth the early morning start 🌅 - Watching the sunrise over Uluru and a rainbow over Kata Tjuta as it was raining are memories we will never forget. Such an accomplishment to complete the walk through the Valley of the Winds and be 1% who get to see streams and waterfalls in Kata Tjuṯa. The guided tour by AAT Kings was excellent and due to weather conditions was adapted accordingly to our abilities.

Best one of our 4 tours😀 - We loved this tour! The sunrise views of Ulura & Kata Tjuṯa were amazing. The hike was tough but so worth the effort. Our guides, Glen, Rob, Tim, Christine, Col were outstanding. Glen’s knowledge & personal life experiences he shared with our group was the best part of our experience. We highly recommend booking this trip!!!

Live in the moment! - This was a tour worth doing and the early start really makes a difference because you finish just before the day gets extremely hot. Our tour guide Glen was an absolute legend. Funny, friendly and knowledgable, he really made this good tour, great. Jessie was at the back with the stragglers (us) but made our time equally enjoyable with his knowledge and hospitality. Glen's mantra was to live in the moment and the most memorable part of the trip was when we sat down in the valley facing these amazing rock formations and he simply told us to keep silent for 10 minutes. This really captured the tranquility of the environment when you could hear the sounds of the wildlife and outback. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic sunrise experience……..walks more difficult than expected from the Viator description and pictures - This tour was a brilliant experience. The sunrise didn’t disappoint, in fact it was far more beautiful than i had expected. Our tour guides Michelle and Lucy, were very knowledgeable, and approachable, and they bought the whole thing to life. If i have a negative comment, it would be that the tour description on Viator, doesn’t give any indication on how difficult the two walks are. It would be useful to know this before embarking on the tour, as footwear, clothing and temperature are all important factors to consider. I did the easier walk into the gorge, and found that difficult in places due to an issue with my knee. Had i known the grading of the walks when booking the tour, i would have booked a different sunrise tour, however the tour itself deserves a 5 stars for the overall experience, and effort from our tour guides to make it special.

Best tour at Ayers Rock resort - Very pleasant tour with AAT Kings. I had booked the full circuit hike with SEIT more than half a year in advance, but they canceled it 6 days before the tour. So I hopped on this tour and found myself very lucky doing so: Our guides Glen and Jim were so engaged and took great care to make everyone in our small group happy. Communication with AAT Kings stuff was friendly and efficient. Pick up was on time. The sunrirse from the viewing platform was spectacular! Probably the best place to watch it for Ayers Rock as well as the Olgas (Kata Tjutas). The hike took most of us to the first (Karu) and the second lookout (Karingana). There is one steep rockface you have to scramble up and down again. Our guide Glen made sure that everyone made it safely. I am a good walker but I am not good on steep declines downward. Nevertheless I managed as did all of us. It is not too difficult after all, just take your time. The view from Karingana lookout was absolutely worth the effort. We had enough time to feel the special atmosphere of the gorgeous rock formations and take fotos of their unique beauty. The weather was splendid and there were only a few flies. The most memorable trip of my stay at Ayers Rock. Many thanks again to Glen and Jim. You are fantastic and doing a great job!

Beautiful walk through the Valley of the Winds - I really loved hearing all Glen’s stories and the information he gave us about what we were seeing, hearing, smelling and feeling. It truly was a very immersive and soul expanding walk up through an incredible iconic Australian landmark. It was a sometimes challenging walk, but Glen was always there to lend a hand, or an arm if needed. It was also very cold and very windy, hence the name I guess. I am so glad I did this walk and got to really experience Kata Tjuṯa in all its glory. Also, seeing the sun rise over Kata Tjuṯa was very special.

Challenging hiking adventure - We enjoyed watching the sunrise over Kata Tjuṯa and Uluru. We also enjoyed the hike through the Valley of the Winds, however, there is a very steep rock face that you must climb up and then go back down. There is an alternative path, which adds about 40-minutes on to the hike.

A very expensive & not very good hike - Overall very disappointed. - over the 20 person limit advertised - minimal breakfast snack - instant coffee and a pack of cookies and some corn flakes in a cup. Glad we brought our own protein bars! - pickup at hotel was way too early- stood around for 30+ min waiting for sunrise in the cold wind - no water provided - minimal cultural info shared; lackluster guides - hike with challenging add on was a total of 4.75 miles fyi - very very windy and the trails are often lots of small rocks (like hiking in a dry riverbed) but hilly. Good shoes, ideally hiking boots recommended. - nice bus had a toilet on it but not allowed to use it except for emergencies- instead made toilet stops for pit toilets!

They did not provide water and insulted me - Compared to other tours we did, this was by far the worst. We were provided with no water. When I gave feedback that the operator should advise tourists to bring their own water - Will the guide told me it was common sense and it was my fault. As a result we were told we couldn’t go on the walking tour. Other tours I went on provided water, sparking wines and refreshments. This one however was a real disappointment.
