Knowledgeable sommelier, great wineries, great time - We had a delightful day with Areti, a Level 3 sommelier who graciously shared her knowledge with us. Areti took us to two wineries, where she introduced us to some of Crete's finest wines and helped us learn with each sip. At our second stop, "lunch" was a multi-course, full meal that was amazingly delicious and paired with each of the wines we tasted. Areti also was very accommodating with our request for vegetarian offerings with our meal. We all went home, talking for days to come about how special this experience was.

Amazing Last Day! - Amazing day with Areti! She is truly personable, kind, and friendly. My husband and I were at the end of our honeymoon in Greece, and this was the best way to spend our last day in Heraklion! Definitely recommend, and we would love to do again in the future! Thank you so much!!

Delightful experience - This tour offers an incredible experience for couples and is a definite highlight of any visit to the region. Areti is an exceptional guide who effortlessly immerses you in the town's atmosphere. I cherished learning about Greek wines, the perfect wine pairings for different foods, and gaining insights into the area's culture and history. Fantastic day! - Fantastic experience. We went to two gorgeous local vineyards and tried many different wines paired with fresh food straight from their gardens. The guide was a very knowledgeable sommelier and gave us great information on the wines and history of the area. We ended the tour walking around a small village famous for its flowers and gardens. I will be recommending this tour to everyone i know who plans to visit Crete.

Unmissable experience to learn about local Cretan culture - We had the most wonderful day with Areti! My husband and I booked the experience with Chase points thinking it would be a fun honeymoon experience and a good chance to learn about wine (we knew practically nothing about wine beforehand). We didn't expect that we would learn so much about Cretan food and culture as well. We went to two vineyards, which served us 5-6 tasting glasses of wine each plus delicious local food. Areti is very knowledgeable about local wine varieties and was an excellent teacher to help us understand how to assess a wine for acidity, body, aromas, and aftertaste. In between the two vineyards, we visited an ancient wine press, which was very informative and amazing to see. The second vineyard really stood out -- a gorgeous setting and a ?6? course meal of local cuisine, paired with their wines. Areti is knowledge, funny, and kind. This was definitely the highlight of our whole honeymoon!

Wonderful, relaxing experience - Areti was so welcoming and knowledgeble! Very intimate tour with lots of amazing wine and food (you will be full by the end of this tour!) Highly reccommend if you want a relaxing, laid back day to see the vineyards of Crete and try amazing food/wine. It was such a wonderful experience.

Beautiful, interesting, and tasty afternoon - My husband and I were lucky to experience the wines and ambience of Crete with Areti! Great insightful and delicious tour with Areti - We had a fantastic day with Areti, who insisted on honoring her tour even though she had cut her hand earlier that morning and needed stitches. We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting at Domaine Paterianakis and our lunch pairing at Lyrirakis.
