Phnom Penh-Tour

Peacock Asia Tours - Morning Tour: Your day starts at 8:00 am, where we’ll visit the Independent Monument (This Monument was built to commemorate the end of the ruling of France in 1953), From there we’ll visit the Royal Palace (Royal residence of the King of Cambodia) and the Silver Pagoda, after visiting the palace, we will have our lunch break.
Afternoon Tour: After our lunch, we will visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21). For those who’d like to snap up a bargain or souvenir, we’ll enjoy browsing or shopping at the popular Russian markets.

• We’ll be visiting two impressive yet lesser-known sites: Wat Prasath and Basith Temple, both in Kandal Province.
• We’ll interact with a family of Silver Smiths who create beautiful art pieces from Cambodian silver.

  • Please dress properly for visiting temples. If you wear shorts and T-shirts, make sure they are long enough to be knee length and shoulder covered. No scarf or shawl and tank top are allowed. We would like to suggest you to wear the light cotton clothes because of hot and humid. Excepted 3 months such as November, December and January is nice weather.

Interesting Combination! - T'was a great experience to see part of Cambodia's countryside and her ancient capital from 17th to 19th century called Oudong. And we had such a good guide who really took much effort explaining to us the history of every place we visit. Thank you Chalana, you were awesome!!!
