- Lamego - Upon arriving in the Douro Valley, we’ll make a brief stop in the historic city of Lamego before visiting a small, family-owned vineyard. Here, we’ll enjoy a guided wine tasting featuring a variety of their wines, along with breathtaking views of the terraced hills that make the Douro Valley so unique.
- Douro River - After our first winery visit, we’ll take a scenic drive along the world-famous National Road 222, heading into the heart of the Douro Valley.
- Folgosa - Next, we’ll visit one of the region’s most prestigious wineries. We’ll tour their centuries-old estate and sample a selection of their renowned Ports. Savor the wines, the views, and the wonderful ambiance!
- Pinhão - It’s time for lunch! As we ascend the hills and pass through the charming town of Pinhão, we’ll be treated to spectacular views of the Douro Valley, a true “Geological Poem.”
- Sabrosa - In Sabrosa, we’ll stop at another family-owned winery for a traditional Portuguese lunch, complete with four courses: appetizer, salad, main dish, and dessert, all paired with their exquisite Douro red and white wines. For the grand finale, we’ll visit their cellar to taste some of their exceptional Ports. After a day full of exploration and discovery, relax and enjoy the journey back to Porto!

Excellent tour with fantastic wine and a great tour guide - The tour guide Vitor was great. Extremely friendly and told us about a lot of the history of the valley and the wine. All the stops had fantastic wine and the lunch was delicious

Hidden gem - This tour was easy to access from the cruise terminal. Our guide was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable and charismatic. We learned so much about ports and our guide became a dear friend by the end of the tour.

Excellent tour. An absolute must. - João was an amazing driver and guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made us feel like we were his family. He had fun on the tour which made it even better. A truly fantastic and personalized tour. The vineyards were breathtaking, the wine was flowing, the lunch was delicious. I didn’t realize that I like port wine until this trip! 100% recommend. It’s a must.

Great wine tour with a few extras !! - We visited the Douro Valley in a party of six with guide Steve and Anna. The tour included visits to three vineyards with lunch. Highlight was the visit to the first vineyard which included tastings of olive oil and different flavored honey all produced organically at the vineyard. Lunch was nice served in an open courtyard under olive trees. The tour also included port tasting and advise on selecting, serving and storing port. Steve and Anna were great guides with lots of local information and advice. Very enjoyable day ad would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience! - A wonderful day touring the Douro Valley with our guide, João. His passion for this region and the wine it produces was evident in the level of service he provided. In addition, the staff at each winery were engaging and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour for those coming to Porto for the first time or those wanting to experience the wines of Portugal.

An excellent day out in the Douro valley - Our guides were Francisco and driver Tiago. Both gave a well presented history tour to the vineyards of the Douro valley.
The tasting of the wines was just delightful and the boat tour, an added bonus

Great tour! - We absolutely enjoyed the tour. Not much of a Port drinker, but we decided to try and see Douro Valley. Mauricio was our guide and very knowledgeable. He even recommended us some really great restaurants in Porto.
We enjoyed visiting the Quintas and trying their Port and table wines. It was a great experience and we would go back to Douro again to try other places next time.

Amazing views, wines and history - We loved our driver who gave us so much information about the region and life in Portugal. We enjoyed seeing the region, which is like nothing else on earth! We did want to try more non- port wine from the region. We will certainly do this in our next trip and hope to have the same guide!

Excellent tour Paolo was... - Excellent tour Paolo was great. They only issue was that we had a flat tire. We had to order another car service to drive us home. I feel the company should refund us the cost of the new car.
