With a height of 55.86 m (183.27 ft) on the lower side and 56.70 m (186.02 ft) on the higher side, and an incline of about 3.99 degrees, this remarkable tilt is due to the soft and unstable subsoil. The phenomenal design has made it one of the marvels of the world.
The Tower is situated in Piazza dei Miracoli, a square recognized globally for its extraordinary and uniquely beautiful monuments, termed ‘miracles’.

Amazing! - Be careful on the steps it’s very tight and slippery but SO BEAUTIFUL! Totally worth booking entry to the tower you get an amazing view of Pisa

Leaning Tower of Pisa - great views from the top - Very well organised. Our slot was at 4.45, we dropped our bags off in a secure locker on site as stated on theticket and walked over to the tower. Small queue to gain entry.

Overall enjoyed walking the perimeter of the city walls and climbing the tower. - The beauty of the actual tower , cathedral & baptistry was breath-taking and very impressive when you first see it after leaving the city street,

Beautiful tower - The Tower of Pisa is really worth a visit, it is a masterpiece of architecture.
The cathedral was very disappointing, on Thursday we were not allowed to enter because there was a concert and on Friday we tried to visit the cathedral but that was not possible because there had been a concert the day before and they were still putting everything right.

Great View - Booked tour for Cathedral and Pisa tower. However only received ticket for Pisa tower as the Cathedral was closed. No refund offered or received. Best to purchase tickets when you are there from the information centre. Enjoyed Pisa tower and the 251 steps to the top.

DO NOT BUY this tour option! - I would give the tour company a zero if possible. Our ticket voucher was absolutely useless. We went to the redemption point and the ticket personal has NO IDEA what to do with it. They looked at us like we were crazy showing them the link information that was sent to us. We had to purchase new tickets at the ticket office. Soooo not cool. Don’t buy this tour option!! We wasted over $200.00 USD on worthless tickets plus the additional cost of new tickets. A VERY pricy day that shouldn’t have been!
(As an aside, the tower and cathedral are worth the view- do it on your own!)

Rubbish company. - Finding that we booked for three adults and you changed that to a booking for two adults. Finding out that because of the time of the ticket, it was not possible to see the cathedral as there was a function in there and it was closed to the general public at that time. We were forced to purchase new tickets!!!
Also discovering that we were part of a group when we did not book as a group, only as a family. Viator need to check their facts before taking money from people.

No tour and no refund! - I was unable to find the person from Caf Tour & Travel who I was supposed to pick my ticket up from and waited 30 minutes without any joy. I called the phone number provided on my booking confirmation and the phone just went dead / was not in use so was unable to get hold of anyone to help. I then spent 20 minutes on hold with Viator in the UK who said they would help, then hung up on me! As a result I went into the Pisa tower ticket office and booked a ticket direct (another £27 spent) so did at least get to see the tower - no one will now refund me from Caf or Viator as apparently the ticket seller was there! - all very frustrating. As a result I wouldn't recommend this tour operator.
