Great experience for an Italian Progressive Meal - We had a fabulous time with Valentina as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and kind. It was our first time in Italy and we wanted to see the LeaningTower of Pisa so she worked it in the tour. We stopped at 5 different restaurants and the food was so good. I would highly recommend this tour experience.

Great tour of Pisa for foodies - We joined this tour with Valentina , we also were joined by a family with young 2 boys with very good appetites. We walked all over Pisa find hidden gems. We started with huge platters of antipasto .the greatest porchetta ever tasted. Also other cured pork and cheeses. Washed down with water wine or soda. We then went to an indoor restaurant where we tasted a portion pici pasta ragout. This is typical tuscan peasant food. By the 3rd stop we were quite full. It was a deli type shop where you choose from the fridge, from a selection of home made foods . We tried the local soup rucvola , which has cabbage in it. This was a filling option. We continue to a pizza takeaway popular with locals where we tried the local chick pea bake pizza , called La Celina. Finally we walked to an ice cream shop near the river Arno. Delicious and needed after the walk in the sunshine. Definitely recommend this trip if you are a Foodie …

Glorious tour of Pisa - A wonderful experience seeing Pisa with an expert! We were in a virgin voyages trip to Marina de Carrera so jumped on the train into Pisa. Valentina was easy to find and it was very straightforward! The food was incredible but definitely don’t eat before - there’s LOADS! We were the only people on the tour so it was like a private tour of Italy! Valentina was perfect, she answered all of our questions, We had plenty of time and even managed a quick stop at the leaning tower for a pic and Valentinas great info! Highly recommended trip - if you’re not sure DO IT!

Food tour Pisa - Loved Valentina!! She is amazing. We had a great time seeing the city and the food was amazing. It was great how she educated us on traditional Italian dinners.

Unforgettable culinary experience in Pisa - Really enjoyed food tour led by Nicoletra. A wine expert, she taught me lots about wine. The antipasti was the best I have had during my 3 weeks in Italy. She introduced us to the crispy baked chickpea with virgin oil, a local vegan delicacy. I have had many gelatos, but was still delighted with the new flavours of the gelateria she took us. My thanks to Nicollata for this unforgettable culinary experience.

Delightful, delicious and educational tour of tastes and tradition - Nicoletta was a delightful guide. She set the pace of the tour to match our walking abilities, and made sure that none of our stops were rushed. She explained a lot of the local Pisa/Tuscan history, and really interesting information about the food we were eating and it's origins. The first course was a very generous platter of Italian cold meats and cheese, and marmalade - in the style of the Sicilian chef! This was accompanied by a delicious glass of local red wine. Four more courses followed, equally delicious, including a Pici pasta dish, a choice of tapas-like taster dishes, Cecina chickpea flour slices and finally some wonderful local ice cream made from pure ingredients, enjoyed while overlooking the river. What a gastronomic delight, and accompanied by a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Highly recommended.

A great way to spend a day in Pisa - We had the most wonderful day with Nicoletta in Pisa. She was truly delightful. She took us to the most amazing locations to experience the most delicious and unique foods to Pisa. She was very knowledgeable about the town of Pisa which added so much to our experience. Thanks so much for making our tour so memorable.

Loved it - Ok , Pisa food tour, a highlight of our visit to Pisa, we are both vegetarian and had no issue being accommodated on the tour, it was a small group and we visited all the local off tourist grid eateries, you have to try the Cecina, Nicoletta was awesome, and we had a great time and recommended booking just leave room for the gelato at the last stop

Fantastico! Nicoletta is a wonderful guide, happy, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Must do! - Nicoletta was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable in regard to not only Pisan food, but the history of the area. We would not have found all the yummy places she took us to by ourselves. She happily catered for vegetarian as well. A must do for an authentic visit to Pisa!

Great tour - Valentina was a great guide, there was far too much food but it was great. Would recommend getting the drink card too.
