- 8450 Placida Rd - Our journey will take us from the boat ramp to Don Pedro State Park. The park’s outer island can only be reached by boat. There, you’ll discover a picnic pavilion, restrooms, and showers. Popular activities include shelling, hiking, snorkeling, and sunbathing. Grills are provided for use. Wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, birds, and gopher tortoises can be spotted. Fishing is permitted away from sunbathing areas.

We will meet at the Placida Boat Ramp. This is located at 6499 Boca Grande Causeway Placida Fl. Parking is next door to the boat ramp at Eldred Marina at 6301 Boca Grande Causeway Blvd . Just past the boat ramp. I will pick you up at the dock at the Placida Ramp. It is $6 to park.
