Amazing experience with an amazing company - What a fantastic company to deal with. We tried to contact a number of boat hire companies before we left the UK and this one was the most responsive, so we went with our gut, paid our €50 deposit and we are so glad we did Upon arrival at the dock/ small port of tsilivi, we were given a very thorough explanation as to what happens, where you go and where you shouldn’t, an extensive run through of the controls on the boat, how to anchor the boat properly, a map, a gps tracker, sea sat nav and much more. This took about 30 minutes and well worth taking the time. We also took the stocked cool box option for two people and it was stacked with stuff. Nice sandwiches, and plenty of drinks. I need quite a lot of water in high temperatures, so took extra water just in case and I didn’t need to. A quick recommendation if you decide to go north and see the blue caves and shipwreck, most people charge off as fast as they can to reach these two viewing points and then all head back to the bays along the coast to anchor up and have a swim . We decided to do it in reverse and it means that you get to spend much more personal time in the bays before all the boats arrive. I strongly recommend this company and if we come back will definitely book with them again

Great Team - With such good ratings and Blue situated just a short walk from our hotel my wife and I decided to hire a boat for the day so we could explore the coast. Booking and paying for the boat was easy and Alex made everything clear about what could be arranged for us if we needed help. On the day of booking we were given a comprehensive brief on the workings of the boat, engine and electronics and we were underway in no time. We were also given a brief on timings to locations and what to visit. Alex also sent us a WhatsApp with further points of interest. The boat was immaculate and we had no issues whatsoever so ever. Amazing experience! Rent a boat with BLU, you won't regret it! - What an amazing time! Greece was meant to be seen by boat! Can't recommend this experience with BLU rentals enough. Super friendly and communicative staff made everything a breeze. They give you a quick run down of all the major components of the boat, make sure you are comfortable in the safety of the Harbor and then let you explore the island however you see fit. With helpful tips on the map and GPS locations sent via whatsapp, you have everything you need to see all the island has to offer while being your own captain.

Beautiful boat and great service - The boat rental experience was excellent and the owners were very detailed in explaining how to use the boat and navigate the beautiful waters of Zakynthos. It is worth renting a boat to explore the coast line. The boat was in excellent and clean condition. My only recommendation is that you check the weather and wind conditions as at times it was hard to navigate due to swells.

Best Day in Zakynthos - We had an incredible time exploring the caves and searching (and finding) sea turtles in the bay! We used the entire gas reserve to explore as far as we could. Driving the boat was easy, even for first timers. We got instructions on where to go with a map that was easy to follow. Fantastic day overall! If you just want to see caves and turtles, renting from a place closer to Laganos beach makes more sense. This was out of Tsivili which was over an hour boat drive from the caves. It was really cool seeing the whole coast, but we used most of our gas just getting to the turtles and caves. we loved driving the boat ourselves and seeing the whole southeast coast. Wonderful experience and still would highly recommend.

Great boat rental with safe entry - We had a wonderful time on the water, thanks to the excellent introduction to the boat from Alex and his team. Everything was explained to us in detail and we had a short driving lesson together. My father was also helped to get on and off the boat, as he needs support due to a walking disability. It was particularly convenient that you enter the boat from a fixed jetty. The cool box and the sound system on the boat were also a particular plus. Thanks to GPS and the team's constant availability via WhatsApp, we always felt safe. Many thanks to Alex and Alex!

Nice day at sea with a lovely boat - Very nice contact, friendly and clear explanation about the boat but also tips.Boot was neatly stocked coolbox was well stocked. All in all just good!

Captain for the day, pricey fuel costs - Great day out on a self drive boat tour. We received a very comprehensive briefing providing lots of detail about the boat and how to anchor up and the route to take. We went to turtle island and the caves which were was fun, no turtles though and not likely to be as you cannot take the boat (rightly so) to the protected turtle breeding areas) We booked a cool box for lunch from Blu rentals, loads of water, drinks and a couple of sandwiches ( €20) Priority to note is that fuel ISNT included, which we knew before setting off but you use a tank which at €2 a litre was an extra €100. I am sure I have seen other boat hire places that include fuel, so a €320 day out… very pricey.. hence the 4 star review as we felt overcharge for the €2 price per litre. I also believe you can hire boats with fuel included as an option which would save a fair few euros. We were promised a message with pin drops with places to stop, we never got this so again very disappointing service as it was difficult to know where we could go / couldn’t go from the brief in the morning, another reason for the 4 stars All in all a good day, boats good quality and clean but be prepared for the extra cost.
