Great for younger kids - We went as a day out as a family consisting of 4 adults and 4 children (7,6,2,1). The park is great for younger kids (under 12). Plenty of seats. Our two older kids didn't stop all day going down the slides and in the pool. The food was more snack type such as pizza etc but when you are running about all day you don't want a big heavy meal. The place was clean. Would go back if I come back to Lanzarote.

"A wonderful experience to repeat" - Today we enjoyed a wonderful day at Aqualava, we celebrated my little daughter's birthday and it was incredible. We were greeted at the entrance and shown to a beautifully decorated table. for the occasion, reserved throughout the day for us. All the facilities are amazing, the slides, the wave pool, the large pool with different water attractions for the little ones. Afterwards we had a wonderful meal, the team was super friendly and attentive to our needs. I totally recommend it for this type of events.

Great day out for the family! - 2 water parks to choose from and we chose this as its was a lot closer to where we stayed. 10 min cab compared to nearly an hour for the other water park. We had 2 adults, 3yo and 14yo. I was a little nervous due to the very mixed reviews but both children were very keen to go. We arrived just before 11am. No queues at the entrance and lockers easy to use and paid for by card. We secured a few chairs with our towels and a bag with water bottles and suncream in. Lots of chairs and parasols available. There is a smoking area near the wave pool so we avoided that. The water is warm ish. Warmer once you’re actually in and moving around. Didn’t find the main pool cold and all of us enjoyed it. It has a gradual slope so it nice for you her children to sit and splash at the shallow end with some water fountains. It’s not a large pool but a generous size and enough space to play and swim. The octopus pool is good for young children. Very shallow water at the end of the slides so no risk of small children being submerged when they come down. My 3yo enjoyed all the small slides and was very happy going between there and the main pool. The lazy river isn’t large but it’s still fun and lots of floats available. I found the water a bit chilly but was still comfortable floating around. A few waterfalls in places and easy to get on and off via steps at multiple locations. There are 5 slides. 2 with inflatables only and 3 without. The inflatable slides are really great and my 14yo loved them. They are quite fast and there is a big pool at the end of the slides. Lots of life guards around to ensure everyone was safe. Pools are quite salty and googles can be worn on the slides. We often did tip up off the inflatables as we went into the pool and found the salt water harsh on our eyes so were thankful googles are allowed. The regular slides without inflatables are slower but still fun. We were caught out by the Aqua Bowl I think it’s called and we named it The Death Drop as unless you actually check out the slides at the bottom before you use them (we didn’t) you don’t realise this slide actually goes into a giant bowl which you swirl around in for a few seconds before you drop thru the middles into a deep cold plunge pool! This was by far our favourite slide and we went on it many times! We did tag team with the children as 3yo couldn’t use the larger slides and 14yo wasn’t interested in the Octopus Pool. We all enjoyed the wave pool which goes every hour. Food was as expected, chips burgers pizza hotdogs. Pizza is great and they cater for gluten free. GF pizza was fantastic! All in all a fantastic day! We left around 4pm and the entrance staff booked us a taxi back to our hotel. Please remember this is not Florida or Tenerife which has amazing water parks. But this was definitely a fun day for us and our children and we would 100% return

The children like it, but how cold with the wind - Acceptable water temperature, but unpleasant feeling of cold with the wind. Slides not too crowded, lifeguards kind and attentive. A little expensive for the attractions offered.

Great - The best water park for young kids. We tried the bigger one but it was freezing and you were very restricted to what you could do!

Slight let down - We expected the water to be warmer than it was as it was advertised as volcaniclly heated. We had 3 small children. Someone must have forgot to turn the volcano on when we were there. This water park would suit younger/ pre teen children not really for older teens or adults as it was small enough with 5 slides, lazy river and wave pool.

Good water park, food and pool at the bottom of the slide let it down. - The slides and lazy river were great. The pool at the bottom of the slides is a bit shallow for adult there is a chance of hitting the bottom with a bit of force. The food was not great and you can’t bring in your own which is not great. It is very clean and you can see staff tidying throughout the day. There is a designated smoking area which stops people smoke if around the park which is a great idea. Lockers were €5 and could be used the whole day which was great.

Fun water park but maybe too tame for water park experts ! - Visited the water park with 2 sons (age 14 & 11). Reasonable selection of water slides (5 I think), a lazy river, wave pool and pool and slides for younger children. Got there just after it opened and plenty of subbed and seating areas. Pools (I believe) are heated so water temperature good. Downside is they could do with some more inflatables, especially for slides. Was also disappointed to see the lifeguard at the wave pool spent most of his time looking at his mobile phone ! However we had a fun few hours and would return.

Underwhelming. OFFER MORE INFLATABLES. - The main problem is the lack of inflatable rings which are required for the lazy river and some on the slides. The lack of these makes it a free for all with people hanging onto them for dear life and snatching them away. Needless and a little insulting considering the price you pay to enter. Only water allowed in, food is removed (we didn’t bring any) however this then forced you to buy overpriced poor food on offer here. Two of the slides are ok. The others are slow. My partner cut his hand on one of them. Very underwhelming and we would not return. I would say suitable for 12 and under.

Only good for 6 year olds and under - Very small park. Only 3 slides suitable for adults. Lifeguards not very attentive, chatting together, on phone or doing nails whilst supposedly watching ….. Rules not clear - ie not allowed to wear glasses on slides Very expensive for what it is and looking run down already
