Cozumel, an island that boasts a notable display of marine biodiversity, serves as an ideal location for diving and snorkeling activities. As such, you’ll notice several enthusiasts engaging in their customary exploration of undersea life in this vibrant yet unique township.
A standout lure of Cozumel that catches the eye in guidebooks is El Cielo; a stretch of pristine white sand at the island’s Southern end within a conservation zone. The site is named for the clear turquoise waters offering unobstructed views of the abundant starfish that reside there.
Snorkeling amongst starfish in Cozumel ranks as one of the most memorable escapades when visiting the Riviera Maya.
