Amazing experience! - I had an amazing experience with Ekinox Tours, and I have to share just how great it was. We explored Tulum and Coba, and our guide, Perfecto, was a standout. Perfecto was warm, engaging, and full of knowledge. His passion for Mayan culture really shone through, and he made learning about the history of these sites genuinely exciting. In Tulum, he brought the ruins to life with stories and insights that made us see the place in a whole new light. In Coba, he continued to amaze us with his expertise and enthusiasm. A special highlight was our visit to the Kanamayte cenote. It was beautiful and refreshing, a perfect addition to the tour. We also got to burn Mayan incense with a shaman for protection, which was a unique and spiritual experience I’ll never forget. Even with a few complainers in our group, Perfecto stayed professional and accommodating, making sure everyone had a great time. It’s clear he loves what he does and respects the culture he’s sharing. If you’re thinking about a tour in this area, go with Ekinox Tours.

Cudos to Ekinox Tours for a caring tour to Tulum and Coba helping with our special needs - We throughly enjoyed the private tour for six we arranged through Ekinox to Tulum and Coba in Mexico with lunch and a visit to a cenote. We arranged a private tour to accommodate my son who uses a wheelchair. Our guide, Angle, was knowledgeable and interesting, and he and our driver went above and beyond the call of duty to help us in and out of the van and through difficult terrain. My highest recommendation. It made the trip possible for us.

Highly recommended activity - We did the activity in the Fleet guided group. Everything was great, both his explanations and the contributions of his collaborators. Special mention to Ángel, always watching that no one is lost and help everyone. Tulum and Coba are two fundamental archaeological centers if you visit the area. Although the entrance to Coba includes the "Mayan tricycle" ride I recommend walking to enjoy the surroundings. They are just under 2km without difficulty, or unevenness. Cenote Butterfly is not one of the best, but the buffet food is very good and with great variety. Everything is homemade, even the sauces, and it's very good. It is more than advisable to carry mosquito repellent.

Excursion that is worth it but with another tourism agency - The places both Tulum and CobĂĄ are spectacular, the butterfly cenote divine, the guide Jorge excellent, I would hire the excursion again: no, the simple reason, the traffic was a horror, it was very old, the air conditioning almost didn't work, the shock absorbers didn't work They existed, for a long excursion and with the heat that makes the situation unacceptable, I would do the excursion again but with another operator, not EKINOX, we did other excursions with vehicles accordingly.

Unprofessional guides. - The excursion and the places were highly recommended. The problem is with the guides FERNANDO and GABRIEL. Before starting the tour they charged us fees that should not have been charged for a series of offers that we had as a Mexican resident. Apart from all that, as a guide, they did not wait for the group to give explanations about the monuments, they went at an inappropriate pace for an excursion of this price. They did not take our needs into account and the personal treatment could be greatly improved
I do not recommend using this company for any tour.

A disastrous deal - Fernando and his partner are terrible as guides. They did not wait for anyone from the group to explain the talks, they rushed to all the places. In addition to deceiving us with the prices of the excursion fees. My husband is a resident of Mexico, and because he is a resident, entry to Tulum and Coba was completely free. They charged us the price as if we were not residents, we had to call their superiors several times, until they finally refunded us the amount that corresponded to us. The guides never told us that they would talk to the company, and they were also laughing for most of the excursion because of the tax claim. A negative point is also that if you did not pay the fees in cash, you did not get on the bus.

Very bad experience, excursion to avoid!! - Avoid, tourist trap! Meet at 7:10 a.m., 30 minutes from the hotel, the bus arrives at 7:25 a.m., leaves at 7:40 a.m. and wastes 2 hours picking people up from other nearby hotels instead of everyone meeting at the same place. Surprise tax of 25 dollars per person??? Thanks to the driver who in the heat offers us a small bottle of water at midday, not the guides...More time waiting after everyone than visiting, too little free time in the end, either we wait or we run during free time. Coba visit with free transportation to the pyramid but paying on the return. Around 3 p.m. still not eating, we were offered a small strawberry cake 🙃. Meal at 4 p.m., and quick if you want to be able to enjoy the cenotes, with paid drinks of course. And finally entertainment to try to make us buy overpriced souvenirs, for a much too late return.
