Educational and Delicious - Our hands on cooking experience with Chef Cody was educational, fun, and delicious. We learned new things about cooking that we didn’t know before and learned about Mexican culinary traditions. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Chef Coty. We hope to visit again.

Best experience of our trip! - Chef Koti is a passionate cook, a fantastic host and an extremely devoted teacher! We arrived at the venue slightly early and were immediately met with sous-chef Carlos, who invited us in and graciously offered welcome drinks. The chef came on time, and her positive energy radiated right from the start. We were taught how to make amazing guac and tortilla chips, and we were also shown how to handle fish and shrimp and create a super yummy main course! Koti’s teaching style is friendly and easy-going. She sometimes challenges you with a question, so you get to do some thinking and are thus immediately more immersed in the whole process. The course was fully hands-on, so we didn’t just stand and watch, we actually got to do all of the things. The environment was so welcoming that it immediately put us at ease. Despite our lack of cooking skills, she made us feel safe and secure and guided us along the way. At the end of the course, we got to eat our creations and enjoyed a sip of mezcal and tequila, accompanied by a glass of wine in a romantic setting. What a great way to end the class! This was by far one of the best experiences of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the tastes of Mexico, history, stories and cooking hacks.

Tasty & Fun Cooking Class - Our cooking class with Chef Coty was an amazing experience! She's highly knowledgeable and very sweet and funny! We made mouthwatering birria tacos, chorizo from scratch, the best tasting guac and salsa, and a delicious banana dessert. We learned a lot from her and even learned new tips and tricks about cooking! She also gave us a lesson in tequila/mezcal, in which we got a few tastings and she taught us about the variety of chilis used in the culture. We would definitely do this again!

10/10 fun, friendly, and delicious; you should definitely book this experience if you’re in the area! - This cooking class was one of the best experiences of our whole trip!! Chef Coty is AMAZING, so knowledgeable, warm, and friendly it felt like hanging with a friend! We cooked an amazing meal together that catered to our dietary needs and was designed to be easy enough that we can recreate it at home. Plus she gave a demonstration of different kinds of peppers that was fascinating (I learned so much about fresh vs dried and their uses/spice levels) as well as an exploration of mezcal/tequila including their provenances, what’s been commercialized/popularized inaccurately, and the correct way to drink them (iykyk). It was all in her home and felt very inviting and personalized while still having the sophistication of professional cooking ranges. We love you, Coty!

Really awesome cooking class - lot's of education, tips, laughter and really good food - We had a fantastic time cooking with Chef Coty. We learned quite a bit in the class about so many different things that all nicely related to the type of food we were cooking, the spices we were using and cooking techniques. When we return to PDC, we will absolutely sign up for another class !

Fantastico! - Fabulous kitchen layout with individual burners and large prep area. We were greeted warmly by Chef Carlos who was prepping with a lovely hibiscus drink which was refreshing. The class started when we were all assembled and Chef Coty was AMAZING. She shared her knowledge and skills generously including her tips for ‘out of this world totopos’ easy recipe. What a lot of fun we all had in our group and so appreciative of a pepper and tequila and mezcal deeper dive. We all agreed this was a highlight of our trip. Also a special note that a person in our group had an allergy to a common food item, this was no problem and the Chef did a great job in accommodation.

Its all about the sauce ;-) - We had an amazing time learning to cook these mexican dishes with Chef Coty! She is so friendly, knowledgeable & patient. She is constantly checking on every group to make sure they understand & are doing things correctly. The food turned out so delicious. We did the 3 course meal with ceviche, fish & shrimp cooked in banana leaves & flambeed bananas for desert but it was the detailed sauces that put everything over the top! We dined on the back patio while having nice conversation with all of the friendly classmates. Also, the tequila vs mezcal lesson was very educational. Thank you Coty for inviting us into your lovely home & we look forward to using the many tips & tricks that you taught us.

Amazing teacher and yummy food - We had an amazing time. Coty is a knowledgable and patient teacher, she really made sure to explain steps clearly and comprehensively. She also divided her time equally between all participants. Next to all the valuable tips and tricks and the amazing recipes we got to take home, we got to eat our self-cooked meal on Coty’s patio with a glass of wine and good conversations. Thank you, Coty, for all the fun and delicious food.
