Highlights
- Islas Santa Catalina - We offer daily tours of 2 dives, from Monday to Sunday. Our star destination for the diving tour are the Catalinas Islands and North Island, rock formations of volcanic origin, some 40 minutes away from the coast. The tour starts at 7.30 am in our dive center, located in Flamingo, where you will fill out the paperwork and the equipment will be tested. The tour will end around noon.
The water temperature in the north coast of the Costa Rican Pacific ranges between 16-30°C / 60-86°F according to the time of year. Visibility can vary almost daily.
The rocky bottom of our coasts is the perfect home for a wide variety of marine life, some species of which are seasonal in this area (giant manta rays or humpback whales). White tip sharks, different types of rays, moray eels, nudibranchs, angelfish, butterfly fish, as well as large schools of colorful tropical fish are often observed.
Each of our dives usually lasts a maximum of 40 minutes at 18 meters depth (60 feet).

Family dive - Our dives were great! So much to see in the areas we dived....white tip sharks, octopus, manta rays, eels, etc! Our guides, Eze and his brother were the best! Highly recommend Pacific Coast Dive Center!

BUCEO FASCINANTE - It was a wonderful place, with lots of fish, sharks, eagle ray, lobster, groupers, octopuses, .... too bad they are not the islands protected space. Overall the excursion was great and the instructors 10. I advise everyone to come to Tamarindo. Sensational

Great experience! Wonderful crew! - I highly recommend the scuba experience through the Pacific Coast Dive Center! This was a very professional crew, who handled every detail of the day. We were fortunate to have Gabi as a guide/dive master, and he ensured each of our dives gave us new things to see in this beautiful area. He even took the time to review the aquatic life we had seen after our dives! My sons and I are novice divers (<20), and this guided experience was perfect for us.

Exploring Marine Life on Catalinas Island: Amazing diving with the best Dive Center - I had the pleasure of doing two dives with the PCDC Costa Rica dive center, and I cannot be more satisfied with the experience. The destination chosen was the stunning Catalinas Island, known for its rich marine biodiversity. During our dives, we were lucky enough to encounter sharks, majestic sea turtles, banks of colorful fish and a variety of marine life that left all divers breathless.
The staff at the center are exceptional. From the first contact, they proved professional, friendly and always willing to help. The staff is composed of experienced instructors who know perfectly the best dive sites, with information and ensure a safe and fun experience.
If you are looking for an unforgettable snorkeling adventure in Costa Rica, do not hesitate to visit this Pacific Coast center. Highly recommended!

So many octopuses!!!! - Jose was an amazing dive instructor. He spotted so many octopuses, sharks, turtles, eels and even shrimp chowing down on a starfish. The diversity was incredible. Very kind and friendly crew. My mom snorkeled while I scuba dived and she had a great time as well. Highly recommend this dive shop!

An Incredible Journey in the Pacific Blue - This was one of my favorite diving experiences. I’m relatively new to certified diving. I was taken by shuttle by a kind gentleman to the shop which was highly convenient. Then there was José. You can tell this man just has a kind and gentle soul. He was a magical guide to the world under the water in the most blue water I’ve ever seen. He has the patience of a saint. Also, the company took photos for me, so I could just focus on diving and keeping my eyes on the magnificent ecosystem around me. You are definitely going to see incredible wildlife underwater; including oceanic reef sharks (harmless little beauties), octopus, eels, lobster, and lots of other aquamarine life. We even saw a large sea turtle and a devil ray. 10/10 would recommend for your diving experience. Thank you so much to José and the rest of the staff! Pura Vida!!!

Diving in Catalina Islands - The material was great and the guides very nice. When it came to diving we were too many people at the same point and it was a bit overwhelming. It was very comfortable to dive as we were set up for the two dives and given a small lunch. Recommended!
