Learnt a great deal - Ben was marvellous! He made the wine tasting experience very enjoyable. He took the time to share his knowledge and make us feel comfortable. A highly intelligent person.

Great Introduction to Hunter Valley Wines - This was my stop in Hunter Valley as recommended by the information center and I was not disappointed. The tasting expert Martelle was friendly, funny, and fabulous! I was very new to Semillon wine and she was a vast resource of knowledge about the wine, Hunter Valley, and Australia in general. She was even kind enough to give me food recommendations in the area as well as where I could go for the best views and to see kangaroos. The wine was also very good. This is a great place to start your time in Hunter Valley or to visit if you haven't been here before (or even if you have, but then why would you need a review?).

Exceptional date wine tasting experience - We had a really great experience and learnt what we loved wine wise. The quality of the wine was amazing with our favourite bring the sticky wicket desert wine. James ou host/guide was really friendly, cheerful and just an awesome bloke overall

Beautiful Brokenwood - Beautiful cellar door, amazing wines but the best thing of all was Xaviera - a wonderful , knowledgeable young lady who took us through the wine tasting with down to earth ease and humour. Also Troy - Sommelier in the making! The best experience in the Hunter Valley - highly recommended!!!

Great wine tasting experience - This was our first cellar door experience in Hunter Valley and we highly enjoyed / would recommend. Oli from BrokenWood guided us through the wine and food parings perfectly and provided a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Oli was super knowledgeable. Venue catered to nut allergy well.

TROY THE WINE GURU - We went for a spontaneous little wine tasting and we’re very happily surprised with the experience! Our wine guru Troy was so extremely knowledgeable and great to have a yarn with. He paired the wines to our pallets perfectly and will definitely be back again. If you don’t go for the wine just go to see Troy he’s the best!!!

Lamb & red wine - deciding on lunch at the Wood, Brokenwood winery. A polar blast? No sweat! Huddled by the roaring hearth, you devoured that woodfired lamb shoulder like a ravenous beast, the smoky beetroot its worthy sidekick. And that Brokenwood masterblend? A Cab-Merlot mashup that'd make a winemaker weep tears of joy. The perfect Hunter Valley send-off!
