Experience an extraordinary 2.5-hour walk through the ruins of Pompeii with our knowledgeable guides. With a guide who is an expert in archaeology and art history, you’ll delve deep into the wonders of this ancient Roman settlement. Learn intimately about age-old customs and traditions. The tour includes visits to the gymnasium, also known as ‘palestra’, where gladiators trained; plus, theatres, bakeries, eateries, ancient laundries, and various shops. Your journey will also take you inside the House of Menander and the Baths. Lastly, a jaunt into Lupanariae - the infamous red-light district, before concluding at the Forum. This tour is an intimate experience with a small group size of no more than 18 participants.

The guide will wait for you at the entrance of the Coffee Shop Vittoria, close to Porta Marina Inferiore entrance.
Be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the starting time, in case of any delay the guide WILL NOT wait since it is a group tour and the entrance tickets are booked for that time.

Fantastic! - We did not realize just how vast Pomei is until we climbed the stairs toward the church; the view was stunning. Our guide, Italo, was knowledgeable & humerous. He provided detailed information & took us to the main points of interest.

Excellent small tour of Pompeii! - Our tour with Rossana was informative and engaging, and included parts of Pompeii that I had not seen on a previous visit--when I went on a tour with the same company led by Lello! Both Rossana and Lello were excellent guides, and shared so much wonderful information with us. Both of my tours were on weekdays in March, and had very small groups (6 people total in 2023, 4 people in 2024), which made it very easy to maintain conversation while navigating through small spaces. Highly recommend tours led by Lello & Co!

A day of revelations, thanks to Lello! - Put simply, you must book Lello if touring Pompeii. From the moment we arrived, Lello was warm, inviting and funny. He had memorised all of our names and tailored the tour specifically to what we wanted to see the most. He engaged our two teenage daughters and they both keenly awaited his next point - no mean feat. His archeological experience was clearly evident and dramatically enriched the tour. We all came away with a dramatically different perspective of Pompeii and Pompeian life. Thank you sincerely Lello!

Amazing Pompeii made even more special with Lello! - Our tour of Pompeii with Lello exceeded all our expectations. Lello gave a fantastic and insightful tour of the site which was informative, fun and made this the highlight of our holiday. The Pompeii ruins are amazing, and having such a knowledgeable guide made it a really special experience for our family. Lello also made sure that our 12 year old son had a great experience by involving him in the stories as we went around the site. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Pompeii to book a tour with Lello.

Excellent overview of Pompei by an outstanding guide. - Our guide, Italo was exceptional. He is a very likable individual with an extensive and in depth knowledgeable of the Pompei archeological site. With his archeological experience, he provided us with an excellent overview of Pompei’s history. Highly recommend Italo if you are planning a visit to pompei.
