Beginning your journey from the square located at an altitude of 1000 m A.S.L., continue on foot along ‘The Gran cone’ pathway leading to the crater for a singular experience. Francesco was great! - Our guide was Francesco (Franky), and he was very informative and entertaining while providing the tour. His knowledge was phenomenal, which included the timing of navigation to avoid extremely crowded areas. Would certainly recommend

Great experience - Fantastic tour! Our guide was phenomenal and we would recommend him and this tour to anyone. We ended up adding on the wine tour/tasting due to his recommendation as well and it was great

take this tour with Sasa - sasa was so knowledgeable about pompeii. he was born, raised and still lives in pompei with his wife and children. he know the ruins like the back of his hand and his stories were expertise, his personality charming yet funny

The tour of a lifetime - We went with a family of 10. Our tour guide Sasa was by far our favorite tour guide we’ve had throughout our trip here. We had a few other tours but he was the best. He is an amazing tour guide. He taught us a lot and made our visit to Pompeii so special.

Best tour guide at an amazing site - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Pompeii. Our family voted Sasa the favourite guide of our trip (and our trip included many excellent tours!). Sasa was informative and exceptionally engaging. Thank you for helping bring the ancient Civilization to life. If you are considering a tour of Pompeii, don't hesitate - this tour provides an efficient way to see this magnificent site.

Bucket list personally but needs to be improved - Great trip. I'd give it a 5 but the communication with the tour guide needs to be improved. I've lived in Florida with a heavy tourist function and you need to understand. That we've never been here. Exact location where to meet had to be dragged out of operator and I had to pester them for it. Not cool. Pompeii and our guide Sass was phenomenal and his passion and details of Pompeii made that part great. Driver at Vesuvius was rushing us and gave us very little time at the top of Vesuvius so if you are not in good shape and do not want to be rushed, book another tour.

Poor Communication - The tour of Pompeii was pretty decent, but the tour communication was severely lacking. We got grouped with other tours from Praiano, and we barely got time to eat lunch. Then, we randomly ended up at a winery, which was not included in our tour, and they were going to have us pay out of pocket for! The tour felt very rushed (we only got 1 hour to hike 300 m to the crater and back!). Overall, I wouldn't have minded the winery if they had asked us first, but we were very tired and had to ask them to take us back to Positano (which luckily, they did via a private taxi).
