Paolo is who you need! - We have just got back from Pompei and it was great. Paolo was a fantastic tour guide and was so knowledgeable, approachable and charismatic. I've been to Pompei before but didn't have a guide, this was a mistake. I would now always encourage people to take a tour guide.

Pompeii is a cool place to explore - This tour was amazing. The archeologist explained many aspects about the life of the citizens of Pompeii in great detail, and this was an interesting tour. Pompeii has really cool ruins and the graphic design of inside the buildings is great.

Knowledgeable and entertaining guide provided an understanding of what life in Pompeii was like before the eruption - Paolo was informative and entertaining and really brought the experience to life. The tour gave context to the site and enabled us to continue exploring afterwards with the tips we were given at the end of the tour. Highly recommended!

Great guided tour with a real archeologist! - Excellent guided walking tour of the highlights of Pompeii. Highly recommended. The guide, Sergio, was a real archeologist, knowledgable, and enthusiastic. Well worth the tour price rather than just doing it self guided.

Great overview of the ruins! - Our guide Sergio made the crowded hot beautiful ruins a lot more manageable. It was a really interesting tour, and our guide answered any questions very well. Starting our visit with a guide definitely helped!

Amazing! Would do this tour again. - This excursion was fantastic! Luca picked us up right at the cruise terminal and kept in touch with us via WhatsApp, ensuring everything went smoothly. He drove us to Vesuvius, where we enjoyed a hike to the crater. Afterwards, Luca took us to Pompeii, where we met our guide, Andrea. Andrea was incredibly knowledgeable, providing in-depth explanations of the archaeological layers and aspects of Pompeii. He answered all our questions and vividly described daily life in ancient Pompeii. We wish we had more time to spend with him, as there was so much to learn!

Fantastic - Yolanda was fantastic. She knows her stuff very well. I went with my family and felt thoroughly educated on Pompei after the tour. We walked around after the tour and knew what everything was and meant thanks to Yolanda. She is great, and highly recommend her for anyone wanting a factual and informative tour.

Lost in the Maze at Pompeii! - The archeologist was very knowledgeable and even took us to the excavation site- which others didn’t get the chance to do with other guides. Very cool! One thing that would have been nice is once the tour is over to give us clear directions how to get out of the maze! We were lost for a bit- I guess it’s not a terrible place to be lost… at least if the volcano is truly dormant! lol
