  • Pompeii Archaeological Park - Explore more of Pompeii than you would on any other guided tour, with a trained archaeologist to provide stories and context that will help you make the most of your visit. Upon meeting up with your guide and small group, you’ll skip the long lines to enter the ruins. Hear fascinating stories about life in the Roman Republic and see how ordinary people lived nearly 2,000 years ago. See the remains of a bakery where the food is still almost intact, the Temple of Apollo and the Roman Forum, an ancient supermarket, a cemetery, and even a brothel (if age appropriate). Marvel at the heart-wrenching plaster casts of those caught in the eruption at the exact moment of their death. You’ll also explore the House of the Vettii, a fascinating private home that recently reopened to the public following restoration. End with a stroll along the old city walls for panoramic views.

Pompei - Pompei is amazing but made even better by our excellent Guide - Vitalli (Vito). He was extremely knowledgeable and brought Pompei to life with his descriptions . You could probably spend a few days and still not see everything. I suggest you take water as its very hit but there are places you can refill your water bottle. I would highly recommend this trip.

Tour Guide Experience - The knowledge that the tour guide shared was amazing. She was wonderful! Wish our tour ended where it began because there was very little signage to find your way out!

Very interesting! - Clear and informative description of the site as we walked around. Paolo our guide was fantastic. We enjoyed seeing the latest area open to the public (two weeks ago) and seeing the archaeologists still at work digging

Highly recommended, Hilary was fab! - We really enjoyed the 3-hour tour of Pompeii with Hilary, she was so knowledgeable (having worked as an archeologist at the site) and shared many brilliant stories that really brought the city to life. Our trip wouldn’t have been as enjoyable without our wonderful tour guide and after the tour we could continue to explore with the understanding of what we were looking at. I would thoroughly recommend the tour, much better than just wandering around by yourself and not getting a true understanding of the amazing history surrounding you.

Brilliant 3 hours - Anso our guide was amazing - he was so knowledgeable and kept everybody’s attention with very interesting facts which you could never get doing the trip on your own or with an audio guide - most trips were 2 hours and this was 3 hours - it was worth every penny and I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Francesca proceeded to guide us through the expansive archaeological site with ease. We learned about the site, its people, its loss and its findings. It was a wonderful tour.

It's hard to understate... - It's hard to understate the value of a guide in providing context for everything that you see. A few placards here and there provide extra detail, but unless you do tons of your own research before and after going, there's precious little to garner from merely seeing the ruins. My tour guide provided tons of insights into the nature of Pompeiian culture and architecture that allowed me to get way more from the experience than would otherwise be possible.

Best way to see Pompeii - A great experience. You wouldn't want to do Pompeii without a guide otherwise you'd have no idea what you're looking at. It's always very busy at Pompeii but when you have your headset on and following the guide, you take less notice of the crowds around you.
