Worth every euro - We could not have been more pleased with our tour. Alex got right down to talk to our girls (5 and 7) before even speaking with us boring parents. He engaged them constantly during our two hour tour of the city, and took time to check in and make sure that big topics like the body casts were going to be ok with us. The girls learned a lot of interesting facts about the city, along with gross stuff like where everyone poo’d, and they loved it! They were engaged and we didn’t hear any complaints about being bored or tired. A great visit and worth every euro.

Pompeii Brought to Life - The tour with Alex was amazing. We did the kids Pompeii Tour and my 13 & 9 year olds were engaged the entire time. Alex did a great job bringing Pompeii to life so we could imagine what the city was like when people lived there. He was able to keep us away from the crowds for most of the tour. When we were near lots of people he always had a way to get us off to the side to explain to us what we were seeing. Alex is from Pompeii, has visited the site for decades and is so knowledgeable. You can tell he is there all the time as he seems to know everyone there. I can’t say enough great things about him. My 9 year old said he was his favorite tour guide of the 5 tours we did that week in Rome/Pompeii.

Brilliant - Our tour of Pompei with Alex was fantastic. He quickly got us into the site, past long queues, and showed us some of the main sights and also areas off the beaten track. His descriptions and explanations helped to give context to what we were looking at, he answered all our questions and helped bring the place to life. He was engaging for our two kids (12 and 10) and adults alike for the whole tour. The two hours just flew by. Highly recommended.

Pompeii tailored for families - We were in Sorrento for a family wedding and couldn’t miss the chance to visit Pompeii - a bucket list must for us. However with 2 young kids (aged 6 and 3), we needed to find a tour that could accommodate - this was that tour!! As Alex lived in the UK as a child, the language barrier wasn’t an issue and he/his team answered all our questions in advance, even whatsapping us on the day, telling us where to meet and how to identify him. Upon approval, we bypassed the lengthy queues and he immediately made friends with our kids. Getting them involved and listening to what they had to say (he even gave them souvenirs!) Not to say that we were left out. We got everything we wanted out of the tour (it truly is fascinating) but having a guide that could be adaptable to kids meant there was one less thing to worry about. At the end of the tour, Alex felt more like a friend, even suggesting we could message him with any query re Italy we may have (and may need local knowledge). What a guy!!

Incredible Tour for a family of four with small children ! - We had a private tour with Alex for our family of four (two children ages 2 and 5). He could not have made this experience any more special. He was patient with the kids, kept their attention all while engaging my husband and I at the same time. We were able to bring our stroller and go through a different entrance for the tour, made things a lot easier. 10/10 tour and look forward to booking Alex again on our next trip back!

Must do tour with kids in pompeii - This is a must do tour if you have school age kids and are visiting pompeii. Alex kept our 7,9 and 12 year old kids engaged for the whole 2 hours and all the adults learned a lot too. Visiting pompeii would be a waste without Alex's energy and knowledge. Do not hesitate to book this trip.
