Embark on a journey to the peak of the volcano that led to the destruction of Pompeii around 2000 years ago. On a 7-hour guided expedition, explore Pompeii’s alleys under the tutelage of an archaeological expert (or accompanied by an audio guide)_. Ascend 3280ft (1000 mt) to the summit of Mt.Vesuvius and follow the trail to the rim of the crater. Revel in the panoramic views of the Bay of Naples and gain insights into the volcano’s geology from a proficient volcanologist guide. The tour accommodates a maximum of 40 participants.
Choose from the available group sizes and opt for a delightful pizza lunch or exquisite wine tasting!
- During the low season (November - March) the live guide inside Pompeii ruins will be replaced by an audio guide for groups of less than six
- Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- A minimum of 2 people is required to operate tour
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Pompeji and Vesuvio - Everything was perfectly organised. Our guid spoke english very well and Mario, our Guide at pompejii made the tour very informative. We could definitely recommend this trip!

SOOO FUN - Amazing views, wine, and restaurant!!! Antonio our guide was very sweet, communicative, and accommodating. When booking it wasn’t clear that the drop off point would be different than the meeting point and he went out of his way to make sure we ended up where we were supposed to. I definitely recommend hiking shoes. I was backpacking europe and had a standard pair of running shoes… did almost bust my arse on the way down the volcano 😳 but yeah major shout out to Antonio for being awesome!

The tour was so spectacular -- pickup and dropoff were easy, tour of the ancient city of Pompeii was very informative, the lunch was more than the advertised light lunch (starter, pasta, and dessert with a tour of vineyard) and the hike (do want to note it is a hike since I could have brought better shoes 🫣) up to Vesuvius was beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic day - Fantastic day, Guides and Driver first class. Stop off for lunch was beautiful, took us round their vineyard with absolutely no pressure to bye. Lunch was much better than expected and we finally managed to get a glass of their wine.
We had a specialist guide for Pompeii, very good and so informative. Getting to the top of Vesuvius was reward for the walk

5 stars and a big thumbs up! - Fantastic tour! We had such a wonderful time with Gabriel & Remigio! Gabriel and Remigio were so fun and entertaining- their jokes had us laughing till we had stitches and they got all of us on the bus singing together!
The tour was well organised, pickup and drop off for each leg of the tour was a breeze. The guided tour of Pompeii and the hike up Mount Vesuvius were both incredible! We had a nice lunch, were plied with amply wine and got the opportunity to know our fellow tour members better!
We would highly recommend this tour! It was amazing!

Great trip! - Pompeii was very interesting. Not hard to get through. Mt vesuvious was more strenuous, but was able to get through.

Excellent Pompeii/Vesuvius Tour - Everything about the excursion was perfect. Mauricio, our driver was very professional and timely. Our guide in the ruins, Claudia was informative and very animated. It was a little difficult to hear her at times even 8n a small group of 8, but there are so many tour groups and people around that creates alot of background noise. We had a delicious lunch that was more than enough and offered a great sampling of Napolitano food. Finally, they gave us 1.5 hours to explore Vesuvius, which was just enough to hike up, walk around and take pics. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Pompeii - excellent day trip, we had a guide which was good but if you go alone you get more time to look round. very interesting and very sad. Avoid the market for souvenirs because prices are too high. a purchase I wanted was 18 Euros which was higher than I wanted to pay stall holder dropped to 8 Euros then to 5 ,I did not buy out of principal, his loss as I would of bought several items. so be careful.

Great Tour Experience - Antonio Our guide was great. He was very patient and helpful. Before our trip I had a knee injury and could not walk as fast. He patiently waited for me and did not rush me.

Great location, bad guide - Pompeii was really cool but the tour guide we got for Pompeii was not. I believe her name was Priscilla but she was really rude, was very hard to understand, didn’t take us to see the amphitheater and just didn’t make the group feel heard. I suggest going to Pompeii but hopefully you don’t get the same tour guide.
