Amazing Tours - We wanted a private tour in order to customize the itinerary. After spending one day with Delfin we asked for a second day to see some of the other areas and it was perfect. He showed us the beauty of the island - both the major sites and also the lesser known hidden gems. He is a wealth of knowledge - everything from the history, to the culture to the geology and everything in between. And he is a weather magician! He timed things perfectly for us to enjoy as much as possible at a pace that was comfortable. Nothing was too much for him to accommodate. An Unforgettable Tour of Sao Miguel - This tour was the highlight of our trip! Our guide was Luis, who we were with for two days of touring. Luis is not only an incredible guide but also incredibly kind and caring. This is the only way to see all of the best sights on Sao Miguel. And you can make requests for locations you woudl like to see. It takes away any stresses of driving and allows you to sit back, relax and enjoy all of the scenery. I am certain you will not be disappointed.

Outstanding guide - Mariano was an excellent guide for our group of four visiting the birthplace of my great grandparents. The weather was foggy then rain started around lunch but he kept us engaged the entire day while sharing the love of his island. He was able to pivot our schedule due to the rain and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. He even helped us interpret my grandfather's immigration docs and pointed out details we hadn't noticed for locating more information. My mom was so excited. Beautiful ride! Great guide! - Luisa was both informative and great sense of humor. Many laughs. Best part was walking along the lake to the area of cooking on the thermal heat.

EXCELLENT TOUR! - Mariano shared a wealth of information about the Azores and brought us off road in his 4x4 to gain spectacular views away from the crowds. The day included a visit to the pineapple plantation and to a local restaurant. Highly recommended!

Stunning Vistas Await! - We were able to explore many areas of this beautiful island. Highlights included overlooking the volcanic lakes, exploring the underground volcanic vent cooking at Furnas then having this food for lunch, a stop at a tea plantation, a North shore beach, and the lovely and tropical Poca de Donas Thermal hot springs. Our driver was very knowledgeable and informative. Well worth the price paid!

Totally worth it! - We had Margarita and she was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and all of the interesting history we learned about the Azores. Even though we didn't have the best weather, it was still the best thing we did on our two week trip. We had a great lunch, some liquor tasting and drove all over the island. She even gave us great ideas of what to do on our free day. Margarita, we loved your wine recommendation and the hot dogs were amazing!! These were not eaten in the same sitting. Lol

Best tour of the island! - Telmo was wonderful and the day was a lot of fun. We were able to decide what we wanted to see and the guide had great advice/suggestions. It was a fun day and he was very helpful and made it even more fun.
