Embark on the Fogo Lake Walking Tour to explore one of the finest lakes on São Miguel Island. The journey commences at 9AM, with pick up service available from hotels in Ponta Delgada. We then proceed to the perimeter of the lake where the trekking path starts. Pack a picnic lunch, wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Don’t forget to carry your swimwear, towel, water, and sunblock.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not a minimum of 4 people. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund

Surprising walk with Clara - Clara was a wonderful guide. She guided us to a beautiful viewpoint and gave interesting information about the nature and sights of the island (as well as the best place to eat ice cream).

Enjoyable hike in the forest and on the lake - Hugo was very good at explaining the flora and the fauna of the place, how it changed and was affected by foreign plants. The hike was around 12km, easy hike in the forest with last part outside it and usually exposed to gusty winds. We managed to see the lake as clouds were just above it. Recommend:)

Lagao do Fogo - Diogo was amazing!!!!! Sooo informative and so helpful. He went above and beyond. would 100% any tour with him again!!!!

A must for any curious traveler - Diogo was an excellent guide! From the hotel pickup to the trailhead, hike, lunch and back again, he not only gave us the history of the lake and surroundings he also documented our adventure with pictures and a GoPro video both above & below the water. A must see for any curious traveler, Diogo made our day memorable.

Amazing tour - Deni was an incredible guide and she took a lot care into the detail. Everything was very good organised, we learn a lot about açores origins and vulcano activity around the island.

A long wonderful hike for 3 people, 60, 69 and 72 - Fantastic hike, weather perfect...including a tiny bit of drizzle.,,,great scenery and the picnic lunch was terrific...and I am picky...a vegetarian! Guide and driver was superb, pace was comfortable. Highly recommend it. Views totally worth the effirt,
