Excellent way to experience Sao Miguel through food and wine!! - Our guide’s name was Fred, and he was excellent!! Very knowledgeable about the Azores in general, but specifically all of the wine that we tasted! We really enjoyed the food that we got to sample and three beautiful restaurants. Tried octopus for the first time! There were two other couples on our tour and we had a lot of fun getting to know them. Would highly recommend this tour to others!

An absolute must do experience - I always suggest signing up for one of these tours if you are visiting a place for the first time. This particular one hosted by Hungry Whale was top notch. The tour guide Diogo had a lot of interesting information about the Azores, the food, the wine, the City of Ponta Delgada. Katrina was also great in keeping things moving along and working behind the scenes to make sure things were ready to go. My wife and I had the best time on this tour. It was the perfect way to begin our stay on Sao Miguel.

Absolute must for the first night in town. - This tour is rich with Açores history and culture. Great explanation of the dishes and wine. Or guides Diogo and Katrina were terrific. They had accommodations for someone in the group with food allergies/preference. It was a really great way to spend our first evening in Ponta Delgada.
