Great trip for Kuala lumpur - Matha and co-captain picked us up at the port. It’s important since this trip is advertised for cruise ship passengers to know which port you are docking at and verify. We enjoyed our day and did almost everything we expected to do. They stayed with us until the shuttle bus left to go back to the ship which was very nice. K.L is far and the caves even further with lots of traffic. important for cruise ship passenger’s to know: Know which port your ship is going to and verify last minute. We ended up at the cargo port and couldn’t get out and our guide wasn’t allowed in. Took over an hour to get permission to stop at the port security gate and drop us off. K.L is about an hour from the port and there is traffic. The Batu caves are even further so you get pretty far away from the ship.

Excellent day in Kuala Lumpur - Our guide Zu was excellent, very knowledgeable and well organised. We had a full day visiting a number of very interesting sights and we returned to our cruise ship in a timely manner which was great. The included lunch was very comprehensive with a wide variety of Malayasian dishes to share.

Must do trip of Kuala Lumpa - Great day being picked up from port, then off to the caves and pewter factory which was very interesting. Then we had lunch which was a buffet and delish something for everybody. Then we did a stop at the Petronas Towers and a quick stop at the Palace where we just missed the King! The company were very communicative, explained where we were being pucked up from tickets arrived on time and were a pleasure to deal with.our guide was exceptional, knowledgeable and made our trip. I would certainly recommend

Temple Tours in Bangkok - Laem Chabang (Bangkok). Private tour into Bangkok. Over 2 hours one way into the city. Thailand King - is King Rama X (2016) … Somdet Phra Boromma-orasathirat Chao Fa Maha Vajiralongkorn Sayammakutratchakuma Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun … pictures everywhere. First stop Reclining Buddha (Wat Arun). Very peaceful. Lunch at old city restaurant. Sandra tried “Chrysanthemum Tea”, I had a Singha beer. Next Wat Raimit (Gold Buddha) over 2 tons of gold leaf. HOT. Alice our guide (very helpful with Sandra) got us into the very tall temple using the monk’s entry. Jade Buddha & Grand Palace. The Jade Buddha is the most revered statue in Thailand. Had to remove shoes, and silence was expected. No pictures. Several monks were in the temple house with their praying mantra. Incredibly serene and peaceful. Grand Palace was - very grand. King Rama and his family only stay in the palace for official business. No time for Damneon Floating market or a longtail punt ride. Disappointed.

Disappointed - Our day started well, as we were met from the first shuttle bus, at the port gate by Fauzi, our driver and guide for the day, who was holding a very clear sign displaying my name. We were quickly on our way to Kuala Lumpur, in his clean, comfortable air conditioned car. Fauzi talked and clearly explained many aspects throughout the day about the city, the country and the way of life for residents in Malaysia. We learned a lot. He was very good and interesting. Although the traffic was busy, we were able to see the King’s Palace, Batu Caves and visit a batik factory in the morning. It was lunchtime when the problem began. The Chinese restaurant booked by the company were not willing to serve on arrival just the two of us on one of their circular tables, as it was set up ready for sharing plates on tables for ten. We needed to wait at least for the next group of five to arrive. We waited at least 20 minutes and then the seven of us all sat together on a table for ten. We did not receive any communication or service at all from anyone in the restaurant. Time ticked by and it was obvious we were not going to be served and so after 45 minutes with no food, the group of seven of us decided to leave. The two drivers were not able to resolve the situation with the restaurant , although our drivers did then book another restaurant. Having been there without any food, none of us wanted to waste any more time, as we only had a few hours in port and there were sights we still wanted to visit in Kuala Lumpur. Fauzi explained that this restaurant had not been used by the company for a long time and of course, this was very unfortunate for us. We feel that we paid far too much money for the Viator trip, particularly when we didn’t receive a lunch. We have been satisfied with previous bookings but will need to think carefully about booking any future trips. Certainly, our driver was not to blame for the restaurant booking. He was not happy with the restaurant situation. We look forward to hearing from you about this matter.

Shockingly Awful - From the first till last this trip was not what we expected - it was an awful experience! Poorly organised which began with the message to meet at 815am - 8 of us turned up but the rep and bus didn’t ! Then add in that 11 other guests failed to turn up left us floundering in 70degs of heat . The rep appeared to be making calls on his phone even telling us the missing 11 were coming from the ship which was a mere 5 minute stroll - ultimately at 0915 the rep was forced to head off with just the 8 of us on a 44 seater coach. Stuck in traffic we made our way to Batu Caves and given just 30 mins before leaving this should have been an hour at the very least. We missed out on other locations to visit with a 10 min photo shoot at Petronas Tower, a quick curry stop for lunch then the last location at independence square before heading back to our ship - the trip was not worth the money and is poorly advertised - in fact viatour should have the decency to refund 50% of the costs as an act of generosity
