- Citadel Fort Adelaide - Perched on top of the hill Petite Montague, the Citadel Fort is located at a height of 100 metres. Also known as the Adelaide Fort (named after the wife of William II, when the British held land in Port Louis), the fort offers stunning views of the harbour the local horse racing track (champs de mars) and the entire city of Port Louis.
- SSR Botanic Garden - The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (sometimes shortened to the SSR Botanical Garden), commonly known as the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, is a popular tourist attraction in Pamplemousses, near Port Louis, Mauritius, and the oldest botanical garden in the Southern Hemisphere. Famous for its long pond of giant water lilies (Victoria amazonica), the garden was first constructed by Pierre Poivre (1719 – 1786) in 1770, and it covers an area of around 37 hectares.
In addition to its giant waterlilies, the garden also features spices, ebonies, sugar canes, and 85 varieties of palms from Central America, Asia, Africa and the islands around the Indian Ocean. Many trees have been planted by world leaders and royalty, including Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand and Robert Mugabe.

Great, professional and fun day out - Magic Mike took us on a tour of Cap Malheureux, the botanical gardens, lunch in a local seafood restaurant , tour of the fortress in Port Louis and the waterfront including new and old markets. It is much more interesting and you learn so much more with a guide than if you drive yourself around. Mike was a great host and we learned a lot about the cultural, political and geographical history of Mauritius. Our son also bartered for a Mauritius football shirt in the old market and we bought some lovely fresh spices and fruit. Lovely day: just book.

Excellent Mauritius Tour & Taxi Guide - Truly remarkable experience with Seraj aka Chucky. From the point of booking with him to completion of our tours. I holiday about 3 times a year and regularly plan my holiday and while doing so, I look out for someone to take us around sightseeing. I have to say Chucky stands out.
For our week holiday in Mauritius this month, I reached out to Chucky with my sightseeing itinerary and he gave me some great local feedback. He was prompt every day, very presentable and has great communication. He adjusted the itinerary where needed on each day based on his in depth knowledge of the traffic and weather so we were able to cover whatever we planned. Each stop, he was very clear, dropped us off at the entrance and made it very easy to find for pickup.
His professionalism and friendliness stands out. His car is a sedan, and extremely well maintained & clean.

Amazing tour, highly recommend! Ask for Chucky! - We booked the North Tour with Chucky Taxis and Chucky himself was our driver. He was absolutely brilliant and treated us like family the moment he picked us up from our hotel. Chucky is an extremely polite, informative and responsive tour guide who took us to all the best places in good time to beat the crowds and queues. Chucky was so kind and knowledgable during the North tour that we decided to book him again for the South-West tour of the island as well (that we ended up doing later in the week). This tour was also amazing and my parents, partner and I all had a great time. Highly recommend Chucky Taxis for your day trips/tours around Mauritius! Thank you for the wonderful memories Chucky!

Great way to explore the North part of Mauritius - This tour was fantastic. We had Chucky organize our tour, and Rishik was our driver/guide. He took us to all these amazing places on the North side of the island. We went to Fort Adelaide, Port Louis, the Botanic Gardens etc. RISHIK was amazing as well at telling us more about Mauritius and the history. We really loved this tour and it was a LOT better than the South Taxi tour. Chucky was great at communicating and what he said, happened. Really rate this, and it was a great way to see parts of Mauritius outside the resort.

Fantastic - I had the north tour and the south tour. Divesh was the driver for both. A very nice and pleasant person who will take you anywhere safely. Booking with Chucky Taxi is the right choice. Communication via WhatsApp works very well. You feel very comfortable as a customer. A clear VERY GOOD!

The North of Paradise - We had a wonderful day, not least because our friendly and considerate driver Rishik always had an answer to our many questions. In addition to the great excursion destinations, we learned a lot about the landscape, life on Mauritius and the lovely inhabitants of this unique paradise. Thank you very much for that!

Best way to see Mauritius - Best way to see island as driver will take you where you want and come back at time agreed. Shame we picked a public holiday as market closed early and fort was closed. Got to see what we wanted to of North part of Island.
