Good food tour - Rudy was a good guide, great personality. I felt bad that he had to say everything twice, but he was so nice about explaining everything to me in English. Great variety of tasty food. Overall good experience!

A must-do if you want to learn about Mauritian history, culture, and food - Port Louis is a small, crowded city so I was wondering how we would navigate as a group. It turns out the tour has been impeccably planned. Our guide, Rudy, found pockets of quiet spaces where we could all gather while he told us about the history of the place and we tasted the street food. Excellently designed tour, and Rudy was amazing. He has a great sense of humor, a booming voice that makes it easy to hear him above the street noise, and he was always aware of where everybody was, waiting for people if necessary and making sure we could all see and hear him. This is much more than a food tour - we learned a lot about the history and culture of Mauritius while also tasting the food. What a great way to learn about the island!

Great tastes and historical tales! - The Port-Louis Street Food tour was great! Each item tasted was full of local flavor and the history to go along with it! I got in at least 5,000 steps and had an experience I would not have otherwise had without the tour and the great tour guide. There was more history to the tour than I planned for, but each detali given gave more insight to the varying tastes and all around history of Mauritius.

Great local experience - This was a wonderful experience. Our guide was so informative and knew his role well. He was also very happy and helpful. We learnt a bit of the history of Mauritius as we wandered around which was also a bonus. The food was fantastic and i never thought that i would eat something out of a container off the back of a motorbike....but it was all street food as advertisied. We had baking pastries, noodles (to die for) fruit, sweets, wraps and more.....all traditional and all hygenic and no stomach problems!!!...well worth the few hours wander around......oh and dont have too big of breakfast before hand......so much food - you wont go hungry

Good tour around Port Louis - Tried a variety of authentic food while still getting to hear some of the history of the place which was really interesting.
It was limited to a small amount of people which was good and I guide was so friendly- he even rang our taxi for us and spoke to him in French to arrange where to collect us which was so kind!
A lovely half day trip out!
