I'm a trini food convert! - We had a brilliant experience going to the queens park savannah food stalls. Doubles, corn soup and a fresh juice stall where we could try a few different ones before getting a glass of our favourites. We then headed into town for a roti which was amazing! Khaleel our guide, was very knowledgeable and makes the tour personable to you making sure you get the most out of it. The portions are massive, definitely you share between two and that comes from someone of the larger variety. Would highly recommend!

A great food experience - My 17 year old daughter and I had a great time (and came home with full belly too!) This was a great way to start our trip in Trinidad to learn about the flavors, seasonings, fruit juices, local foods and history too. Our guide Tano was so knowledgeable and friendly and made us excited for learn more about the history and people of Trinidad. We enjoyed visiting the variety in food areas (from the local food market to the popular street with night life and restaurants.) This tour was a highlight for both of us.

Not worth the price - Booking the tour was super easy and the company did respond when called to verify the booking and get the information as to where and when to meet. Our tour guide Paranka? does not want to be in Trinidad and that is very evident. We started at Queen’s Park Savannah where we got pholourie and bbq pork to share amongst my party of 2 and the tour guide. The food was delicious. We were given the choice of getting drinks from there or going to get roti although the activity makes it seem as if it’s all included. We asked to buy our own drinks so we could get roti. He did pay for the drinks and then we went to the second stop for roti. We shared a roti and he offered to take us to get beers or back to our hotel to end the tour. I realized we never got the corn soup from the first stop, which we were really looking forward to so I asked about it. He tried to find something similar close to the area were already at but ended up going back to Queen’s Park where I ended up paying for the corn soup before he dropped us back off at the hotel. He was friendly and offered a little chatter. We never went to Ariapita Ave for Trini gyros. Overall the tour was extremely overpriced for sharing food amongst 3 people. It would be better to hire a taxi to take you to each spot and it would come out cheaper. The taxi drivers are all really nice and LOVE Trinidad.
