Boat trip from Portimao to Benagil Cave - Booked a boat trip in the Algarve in Portugal via Checkyeti at Manguitus go cave to admire the Benagil cave. On this trip we could look into the cave and spot dolphins. We didn't see either. We can understand that the dolphins could not be seen, because these animals obviously cannot be controlled. But unfortunately we didn't even see the cave. There was 1 woman on board who decided for the entire boat that we were going back even though we could already see the cave in the distance. She thought it was too exciting and gestured for the captain to go back. She then sat quietly taking pictures around her, so in the end she didn't find it that exciting. After many gestures from this lady, the captain eventually turned back without informing anyone, with the result that we were not even able to admire the cave, to everyone's surprise. As you can see in the photo, there was a clear blue sky and the sea was easy to navigate. We spent 2 hours on a boat for nothing. When we returned, we talked to this company, but because we had booked with Checkyeti, they could not give us the money back. They assured us that if checkyeti contacted them to verify the story, they would agree that we were entitled to a refund. You guessed it, now the time has come and both companies do not respond and refer to each other. In other words; don't book with one of these companies because you are looking forward to a great experience but you don't get anything for your money.
