A delightful experience! - This was my first food tour ever and I was delighted by the experience! I am amazed at how many wonderful foods and tales Sherri was able to pack into just over three hours; the pacing of the tour was great and I never felt we were rushed! Her choice of restaurants was varied and well-curated. Sherri was knowledgable about Portland food history and the city; her tour was a ode to the chefs and culinary artists who have dedicated their lives to bringing beautiful foods to our mouths. I highly recommend her tours and hope to return with friends and family! <3. What a great way to spend time!

An Enjoyable and Taste-full Afternoon - We enjoyed your guidance and humor. Your introduction to each of the restaurants and markets we stopped at and stories about the neighborhood made for a very enjoyable and taste-full afternoon. We've visited Portland many times, but this was a great way to explore a new neighborhood.

Kearns in an Afternoon - Our group of six recently had the opportunity to join Sherri of “Portland By Mouth – Vibrant Kearns Hood” food tour with an incredible company. It was a great find and a fun afternoon from start to finish. First and foremost, the food on this tour was simply fantastic. There were multiple stops with something different at each. Apologies if we miss any as the 3+ hours flew by! We started with tasty tortas from Güero then popped into Montelupo Italian Market to peruse the variety of Italian goods and sample a surprisingly tasty pistachio spread. From there, we headed to Tropicale for a tasty Piña Colada and shade! We then stopped into Providore where we sampled a tasty gruyere and were left to roam for some shopping. From there we made our way to Crave Creperie to nosh on half (they were generous!) a Figgy Piggy – fig onion jam, YUM! – and wash it down with refreshing lavender lemonade. Finally, we wrapped it up at Staccato Gelato with two scoops of artisan gelato. It was apparent Sherri selected each location and menu item with a lot of thought to best reflect the local and diverse food scene. In the end, there was no shortage of scrumptious dishes to savor and the pause with each stop was just long enough to savor. What really sets this food tour apart were the unexpected stops at two local markets. It provided an extra dimension to the tour and made it feel like Sherri really appreciates the life of the Kearns community. She deserves praise engaging with our small group and sharing her r knowledge of Portland. Overall, our experience with Portland By Mouth was fantastic. The delicious and abundant food, pleasant drink options, the delightful detours to local markets, and the engaging host all combined to create an fun afternoon. Kudos to Sherri for running such an engaging female owned business that showcases what a delicious neighborhood Kearns is!

A wonderful afternoon - A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon. While my wife was attending a conference, I was looking for an activity for myself. The food tour was perfect! Sherry introduced our small group to the neighborhood eateries and shared the interesting local history. I will come again.

A tour guide born to lead food adventures - We had so much fun exploring Kerns with Sherry. Since we are East Siders, we thought we knew the neighborhood. But Sherry shared so much history with us, as well as back stories on the various restaurants and markets, that it felt like a new piece of Portland. The food was excellent--a torta here, sushi roll there, lovely crepe in a food cart pod. She was careful about our dietary restrictions, which we really appreciated. But she was the star of the show--funny, insightful, excited about everything.

A progressive Dinner Stroll - We sampled restaurants, food trucks, and several delicious pases to take food home. All while walking around a residential neighborhood in east Portland. Shelli, our guide, regaled us with tales from this area. It was a long walk for our oldest group member but had many stops along the way.
