Highlights
  • Camp 18 Museum - Here you’ll see what fueled the economy of Portland’s Golden Age, 1905-1930, at this roadside museum of logging artifacts. You’ll also have time to peruse the gift shop.
  • Ecola State Park - Capture a spectacular view of the famous sea stack-studded coastline, featured in movies, and the furthest south that members of the Lewis & Clark expedition ventured.
  • Cannon Beach - You’ll have time to explore the galleries, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, beach, and Haystack Rock.
  • Haystack Rock - Haystock Rock, the most famous sea stack in Oregon, is included as part of a stop at Cannon Beach. You are free to allocate your time among the galleries, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants, beach, and Haystack Rock, as you desire.
  • Hug Point State Park - A mystical beach with sandstone caves, a waterfall, and a 19th Century road carved into the headland.
  • Oswald West State Park - We’ll make stops at Short Sands Beach and Neahkahnie Viewpoint while passing through the largest state park on the Oregon Coast.
  • Short Sands Beach - Take an enchanting hike through an oldgrowth forest harboring massive Sitka spruce (Picea sitchensis), western redcedar (Thuja plicata), and Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziessii) to a secluded little beach with a waterfall and filled with surfers in wet suits year-round. This is the legendary Smuggler’s Cove, formed by Cape Falcon, where The Goonies pirates are rumored to have landed and buried their treasure.
  • Neahkahnie Mountain - We’ll stop at a viewpoint off US 101 on the slopes of Neahkahnie Mountain, overlooking the town of Manzanita and an endless coast of white waves to the south.

Oregon coast tour - Loved the hikes and scenery. A nice way to spoil myself while the spouse was at work. The first and last spot were my favorites. Nice experience even in cold weather.

Excellent Personal Oregon Coast Tour - Niko Grimanis was the perfect tour guide for our group. He was knowledgeable about the area and lots of other topics especially the wineries. He was flexible for our needs and wants, and lots of fun! He drove us to beautiful scenic locations in a comfortable van and walked down trails with us so we could dip our toes in the Pacific. We would highly recommend this tour!

Rushed but enjoyable - This was our second tour of this trip and was a very different experience. We were the only ones booked and while I thought this would be a benefit, we discovered it was not. This tour with Halle - Terran Travels felt rushed throughout and the driving felt rushed. While we were thankful for the 2+ hours at Cannon Beach for exploring and lunch, the rest of the trip was merely a couple photos and back in the van. A stark difference from our other tour with WW adventures. The half day waterfall tour was paced more enjoyably and never felt rushed. Overall, we were happy to experience the coastline.
