Great Experiemce - Great Excurcion, The spots we saw where just beautifull. And the guide was really friendly and always ask us what we would like to see next. You can go for it no doubts. Just great and amasing. We never saw something like this

Caving Adventure! - We had a great tour seeing the caves and landscape of the island and Rafaella was a great tour guide! We really enjoyed it and learned a lot about Terceira too.

Spectacular and educational tour - Whilst we weren't blessed with the best weather, Chris proved an excellent tour guide, driving us around the volcanology highlights of the island and giving us loads of information. She was also full of local knowledge and told us much of the recent history of this beautiful island. Whilst the lava tube (Gruta do Natal) and the sulphur springs (Furnas do Enxofre) were amazing, the highlight was the enormous Algar do Carvao. This trip was well worth doing!

Caving tour - Really enjoyed the afternoon tour with Chris, she was prompt to pick us up from hotel and then collected 2 others from their hotel before setting off. She was very informative and happy to explain all sorts of information about the island as we drove to our first stop. During the afternoon we went inside the cathedral caves, down a lava tube saw sulphur steam bubbling from the rock and ended at the cheese tasting bar! Fascinating experience, one I definitely recommend to visitors to this beautiful island.

Terceira caving with Tanya - Amazing!! Wonderful tour and so much incredible information. Tanya was knowledgeable and fun as a guide. We were so impressed. Highly recommend this tour. Caves, volcano, and cheese factory with ice cream- who could want more!!!

Cave tours - Chris was a great guide and informative. Enjoyed the duck pond a lot. The cave chimney was amazing! We found the tour company by walking towards downtown.

Tour with Tania - This was the best tour we did during our stay in the Azores. We had Tania as our guide and she was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the island even though she has only lived here 3 years. She also knows Hungarian, English, and German fluently and also speaks Italian and Portuguese. We were the only ones on the tour and both feeling a little under the weather but she kept us entertained. The tour had about 5 different stops where we’d get our a walk around. We walked through lava tunnels, into a volcano and up on top of the highest point of the island. Tania knew a lot about each stop. We finished at a cheese factory that was really cool. They had super yummy ice cream and a beautiful view with a balcony. We were glad we booked this tour.

What a great way to see the caves of Terceira plus so much more - We toured 2 caves on Terceira plus toured various places on Terceira. This was our 2nd visit to visit Algar do Carvao which was awesome, because it is amazing to be able to go inside a cave. We also visited a lava tube which was amazing. Our guide was incredible knowledgeable explaining the history of the two caves. He also took us to a part of the island which overlooked "goat" island.

Disappointing non-event - I had booked this tour well in advance and was looking forward to it. There I was, waiting to be picked up, as arranged, outside the hotel. After 20 minutes of no-show, I phoned the number and was informed that Algar de Carvão isn't open on Mondays, so the operator had cancelled the trip. This incompetence ruined my trip to Terceira. The tour operator should obviously not accept bookings for days when attractions are closed. I could easily have planned to do things differently had I been warned in time. I asked for a refund over the phone - after all, it was the operator who cancelled, not me - but so far it has not been forthcoming.
