Alvarj - Alvaro came to our rescue when our tour guide didn't whoe up at the horseman statue. We grouped together with Jill and Brian 2 people we got talking too who were also let down and it was so enjoyable Historic and local knowledge. We covered a lit of substance the walking tour wouldn't!!!

Excellent tour to do on your first day in Porto! - Excellent tour of the Old City, Alvaro is a great storyteller and very knowledgeable about the city. He’s also an excellent photographer and took great photos of us at different lookout points. Highly recommend this tour… Do it early on in your visit so that you can get a sense of the layout of the city and enjoy his many recommendations. The price for a 2 hour trip is better than the Tuk-tuk rides which are half the time and with his old-style military jeep, it’s a quaint and fun way to visit Porto.

Much more than a tour! - While in Porto, we booked this tour to get a nice overview of the highlights of the city. However, the host, Alvaro, offered us much more than this! We got to see everything by jeep, even the parts of the city that were very hard to reach. Furthermore, we got to taste a delicious port at Porto Cruz. For the rest of the week, Alvaro was there for us to give us tips and to travel us everywhere we wanted with his jeep. Very nice experience over all!!

Best way to see Porto! - This was one of the highlights of my trip to Portugal! Alvaro was so warm and friendly and gave such a fun and informative tour. The UMM was very comfortable and gave a smooth ride. We got to see way more of the city than we would ever get to see by ourselves! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to truly see Porto.
