Van ride to train trip train departure for Pin-Hoa.- an hour+ boat ride, tour and port tasting at Sandman’s , then lunch - Our hotel pick up was right on time. Carlos our tour leader was extremely knowledgable and made the van trip, the train and boat tour haspects happen on schedule. Make sure your phones are charged cameras loaded for lots of pictures.

Our tour guides were at... - Our tour guides were at our hotel at the exact time in the morning. They gave us a call the day before to confirm our booking and our pick up time. Our tour guides Miguel and Carlos were excellent and I would recommend them to anyone. They were knowledgable, very fun, and always willing to take photos of us. The winery was amazing and our guide at the winery was a wine maker himself running the winery and was very welcoming to our family. The lunch was fantastic and they were able to cater to some of our vegetarian needs. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

A fine experience on the Douro - The wine-tasting experience with Roberto’s personal explanations and his mother’s cooking were above our expectations. The food and wine from the Bucheiro family farm was an excellent experience. This part of the tour seemed to be a personal relationship courtesy of Antonio, who as our guide was also most helpful in giving us the experience of bus boat and train.

Great excursion - highly recommend! - Our guides Antonio and Carlos made this a day to remember! They were fun and knowledgeable and did everything to make this a wonderful experience. The Douro Valley is incredibly beautiful, and having the different forms of transportation - vans, trains, and boats - allowed for different perspectives. The excellent luncheon and wine tasting in a private home with the enthusiastic vineyard owner made the experience very personal and engaging. Our family group of ten (ages 26 to 90) loved the day and gave the tour a unanimous two thumbs up!

UNFORGETTABLE, WONDERFUL TRIP IN DOURO! - Wonderful views, beautiful landscapes. The boat was very comfortable, smooth sailing, where nature with its exuberance enchanted us at every moment. Our Guide ANTONIO CARDOSO, a true gentleman, paid us all attention and told us a lot about the local history. It was a perfect trip, I would do it multiple times without getting tired... the perfect atmosphere! The spectacular lunch, the visit to the CAVE was unforgettable. Returning on the train was an added plus..... I recommend the experience!

Great Day in Douro Valley! - We had an incredible time in Douro Valley with Antonio. The boat ride was beautiful, and the wine tastings were very well informed. Antonio was an amazing guide, he was so knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure our group had a great experience in all aspects of the day.
